Ennis RV Village, Ennis, Montana

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate based on monthly stay. This is by far the nicest RV Park in the area. Clean, well maintained park with excellent staff that welcomes you with a smile. Sites towards the rear of the park are best. Incredible views of the surrounding mountain ranges and lots of lakes, streams, and rivers in the area to fish and enjoy. Ennis is a authentic western Montana town and a great location to base camp at while exploring the area. Easy access to Yellowstone and only 45 minutes from Bozeman. Well worth it to stay here and enjoy the peace and quiet, no trains and no freeways for fifty miles! We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Esmeralda RV Park and Campground, Dyer, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nicest folks you ever want to meet here! The park is clean and quiet and uniquely located for incredible off road exploration of numerous ghost towns and abandoned mining operations. The owner, is a walking encyclopedia of local history (born and raised native) and she is always happy to share her knowledge. She also has an INCREDIBLE museum of local artifacts and again, she is happy to share her knowledge with anyone who has an interest. The store is well stocked and like the park, very clean and well organized. Everyone we met here is extremely friendly and welcoming. Very good Verizon cell and internet access. We will be back!!! We camped at Esmeralda RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Falls 93 RV Park, Filer, Idaho

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for one night only in February, The park is full of long term residents with only a few sites available to overnighters. The sites are extremely narrow and it's muddy everywhere! This place needs new gravel desperately. It's also very noisy from Hwy 93 and the neighbors who come and go all night. If you need one night only and need to get some sleep, I recommend someplace else. This place is perfect for long term residents though. We camped at Twin Falls 93 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sacramento River RV Resort, Redding, California

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and outgoing managers. They really make you feel welcome here. The park appears to be mostly permanent residents and I believe we were the only overnight guests here. Heavily treed so forget satellite. Very good cable hook up though. Although the park is very close to I-5 we asked to be parked as far away from the highway as possible and they were happy to accommodate us. There is also a nice dog walk area that appeared clean and cared for. We camped at Sacramento River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cape Blanco State Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is our favorite Oregon State Park. There is a maze of trails through the dense forest between the campground and the ocean bluffs. There is a great beach to walk or drive on too. It is very quiet here and well protected from the storms. Plenty of large sites (compared to many other coastal state parks) for big rigs too. Nice hosts and park employees along with the well maintained facilities make this place a ten! Host sites with sewer hook ups are available to the public during the winter season. We camped at Cape Blanco State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park, Crooked River Ranch, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Greeted warmly at check-in and assigned a nice pull-through site. This is a high desert park but there is quite a bit of green grass here. It's surrounded by a very nice golf course and there are some incredible views of the river gorge at the back of the property. WiFi works great! Just a few rigs here during this time of year and the nice lady in the office said that they plan to remain open year-round now. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This would be a great place to stay a few days and play some golf. I would have played but the smug attitude of the kid working in the pro shop made me feel that I was not welcome to play at "their" course.

Maryhill State Park, Goldendale, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed here before but the place is looking pretty run down now. Still a nice state park but the prices are too high for what is offered. We had to pay an extra $10 parking fee because my wife follows me in a Jeep. We only stayed one night because we decided to head into Oregon where the pricing is more reasonable. We camped at Maryhill State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bridgeport State Park, Bridgeport, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have always enjoyed Washington State Parks and this is another nice, clean and quiet park. However, we were shocked at the price for a late October stay. 45 bucks and no sewer hook-up along with no other amenities that you would get in a private park for less money. Apparently the state has pulled all funding forcing the parks to generate their own funds. We got tagged an extra 10 bucks because we had an extra vehicle. Too bad, I'm afraid the pricing will force many low to middle income families out of the opportunity to enjoy 'their' state parks. We camped at Bridgeport State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
