Owners were very nice. Escorted us to our site. Very large pull through. Very close drive to lake, although not a good view. Would give a better rating but, internet was very bad, same as cell phone. People say who cares we are camping, we are full time traveling the country, it is a very big deal!!! The one thing that really bothered me, they advertise Passport America, but when you get there, you do not get the rate because you made a reservation. In this case they should not only not advertise it, but Passport America should drop this park!!!!!!

We arrived just a bit early and we're allowed to check in. Wonderful hosts who took us to our site, cleaned off the outdoor table for us. They were able to sell us tickets to the Royal Gorge train ride and to Royal Gorge itself. Great water pressure! I wished we were able to stay longer but were on a schedule! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!

We stayed here for two nights. There are mostly locals that come out for the season. We were met by a gentleman at the office and he imediately went over and mowed a lot for us, and was very pleasant. There are not very many spots for big rigs, but no one was next to us on one side, so we had lot's of room. We had no problem finding this campground located a couple of miles off the main hwy. You will go down a treelined road once you turn in, but just go slow. Very quiet at night. We wish the front of the campground was a little more maintained.

We are full timer's pulling a 40 ft 5th wheel. We were only there for a couple of nights. This is definitely a campground for the whole family. At first sight it looks like it is all seasonal campers but we were directed to the back of the campground and found our spot right away. Plenty of room for truck and camper. Met some nice folks. There is a gate at the front for security purposes which was nice. They also have a very nice restaurant right on sight that we loved. The food was great but they don't serve breakfast. Easy to get into Canton about 15 miles away to see the sights!

Park is difficult to get into with a Big Rig. Had to have people move vehicles in order to get out. Only one way in and you block traffic in a big unit while paying. The falls was non existent, it was a trickle. Said they were in a drought, but the rivers were all full around them. Other than this the park is nice, with full hook ups. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We came here not knowing what to expect. After staying for a month and going by every RV park from Destin to Pensacola, this is the best by far. Lots of things to do. About 20 miles west of Destin and 20 miles east of Pensacola. Lots of things to choose from for entertainment. About the park itself. Lots of long pull thru's. 2 sewer connects, water for washing camper, (there are a couple of guys that will come to your rig & wash at a reasonable price), FHU, private pier & beach, nice pool & clubhouse, about 6 spots up on water front. Now for the atmosphere, the Host is a wonderful lady, along with her staff. She has many activities at the club house, such as parties, weekly ice cream socials, breakfast, Etc. They will do almost anything to help, including getting you into locked out units, etc. We mentioned a tree branch coming close to our slide cover and they were trimmed within minutes. Will definitely make this a place on our travels.
