Very busy park near downtown. Be sure to use directions on the website. There are 4 docks and marina very near by on Lake Tanneycomo. You can walk to Branson Landing. But there is a bus shuttle to town and many stops along the way. Parking in sites were pull in from one road and neighbor pull in from the other road. So we shared utilities and common areas with awnings and slides just almost touching. Weren't able to open shades on either side due to closeness of neighbors.

Friendly service. Stayed here to visit in area.

Small city campground with convenient place to stay if visiting in the area. Be aware there is a creek bridge to drive over to most of the sites in the back 4o. But it is well built and supports our 40ft MH and std side truck. Utilities for our site were a distance from our MH.

This was our 3rd time here. The layout of the sites have been somewhat changed. Our site was very close to the neighbor's. They have pull ins from one direction and then the neighbor's is pull ins from the other direction. So you share the utilities and the common area for tables and sitting. Your slides and awnings are just about touching IF you are able to set them. Could not open shades on driver's side due to looking right into neighbor's RV.

Stayed here to explore the area. Everything was a distance from campground. There were many seasonal campers. But the campground was well managed and clean. Owners live on site.

Convenient to visit in the area. This is our 4th year to stay here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Be aware of entrance signs. The campground is behind the Super 8 motel.

Very pleased with campground layout. Everything was quite a distance from the park. Wanted to do some fishing but there is about 1-1/2 mile water canal through wild rice to get to the open lake. Nothing in Federal Dam for shopping or eating out. There is a small convenient store and bait shop and marina. But the park is very popular with campers.

Very busy campground. There are many seasonal campers. Some sites were cluttered and some were very neat. The staff was very helpful. We noticed a lot of planned activities for the campers. We stayed in this park to visit with friends in the area for a few days.

A good park to stop for the night. We arrived in early afternoon and by evening the park was full. No Office. Just had our reservation papers on site post. The electric box was hidden in the side bushes.

We were here at a busy time. Wanted to visit Mackinac Island for a couple of days. The site was in the back and on a corner that was large for our MH and tow. Staff was very friendly.

Stayed here to visit in the Detroit area for a few days. Didn't use any of the park features. Good security for the park. Easy access to the entrance and sites.

Good entrance. Staff was very efficient and helpful. We had a choice of sites.

Sites were very tight. We asked for a pull-thru. There was a raised concrete patio that our vehicle almost hit while pulling into the site. A worker was guiding us. We had to unhook our vehicle from the MH to set up. When we left we had to back out of site to exit due to the closeness of neighboring sites in front of our site. The sites were gravel and very un-level. Stayed only one night. I have been a KOA member for over 10 years. This is one of the worst KOA's we have stayed in so far.

Just off I-29 - easy check in. The friendly owners work hard to make this a top notch RV park. Long level gravel pull thrus. There are tall mature trees shading the whole park. All the utilities worked fine. Wifi and cable TV was great. There is a small clean fenced in dog area. Owners had a "wine tasting" on Friday night which was fun. Then on Sunday night before Labor Day, owners invited all campers to BBQ chicken and hamburgers cookout. Definitely would return when in the area.

Rate is with Good Sam 10% discount. The access road is a bit rough and dusty. The waterfront pull-throughs are just right for big rigs. A nice park on the Mississippi River. There were park benches on the shoreline with grassy areas and big trees. Very nice to sit was watch the barges pass by. The mosquitoes were bad at sunset, but that is to be expected. Even though the area must flood yearly the staff cleans up the debris and makes everything new again each year. We were very pleased during our overnight stay.
