Blue Rocks Family Campground, Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great for hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. Have used the pool on previous visits and it was very nice as well. Campground is a tent campers dream as allot of those sites are mountain top and nicely secluded. For a RV the full hook up sites are extremely tight, and built around the dump station making harder to pack up Sunday) as those without sewer were lined up in front waiting to dump. We camped at Blue Rocks Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

1000 Islands / Association Island KOA , Henderson Harbor, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Very relaxing, and scenic, location. Routine was coffee by the water, fishing, swimming, dinner, ending w/a beautiful sunset and campfire. Was very breezy all week. We never opened the awning or needed to use the a/c. Even got out of bed a couple of nights to assure things were still where we left them. It was dusty but that was a comprise I could live with. We didn't have a problem with the bugs outside, just inside when the door wasn't shut immediately. Only suggestion would be to bring extra...hoses, extension cords, and sewer line. I am already set to go back this year. We camped at 1000 Islands / Association Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville, Quarryville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We return every year for at least one weekend, and have not had a bad experience yet. We have stayed in just about ever section, including the new pull throughs, last year. Only gripe has been the weather (rained each of the last two years) which I don't believe the owners can control. Kids (10/12) love the activities, and although expensive, they always want to go back. I would like to see a bigger pool. Had no trouble negotiating and parking a 33' fifth wheel (escorted by managment). We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville in a Fifth Wheel.
