Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park, Astoria, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting, great sites, easy access, quiet. They do charge for dogs, a pet peeve of mine, but they don't really seem to have a real problem with pets, as other users stated. Although it is very strange that they don't mind you parking on the grass but walking your dog in it is a no-no. You must use the designated area, not the huge grassy area surrounding your rig. Overall very nice location and space. Would definitely come back. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

McKinley's Marina & RV Park, Waldport, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice quiet location, good pads and space sizes. Only downside is that they aren't pet friendly, or just plain friendly for that matter. Huge expanse of grass in the center isn't too be touched by pets, must use the three foot wide strip at the end of the park or the field at the other end. Large field, just not easily reached by all sites. Overall very good and I would choose them again. We camped at McKinley's Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The pros: nice owner, great Wi-Fi, clean with grassy areas for dogs. Cons: It's an extremely small park, between rigs and overall length, nothing like the website pictures. "Pull throughs" are too short to do so without having someone move or having to back out. Park entry has deep valley that drags on longer units (blacktop scars say we weren't the first). The park sits on Hwy 101. The traffic noise never stops, but if it did then the car wash coin alarms across the street would still keep you wide awake (not sure who washes cars at 5am!?). When we made reservations a month prior, we were ensured a 50 amp site. Once we arrived we were told that there are only two 50 sites and that they were occupied, "things change" and only 30 amp was available. We would have left if there were anything else available, anywhere (week included July 4th-that's why we reserved so far in advance)! For smaller units that don't mind constant noise this is a great place, otherwise pass this one up! We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Green Acres RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful little property, nice grass, sites are wide, shaded. Very nice owner. Only complaint was the side of the park we were parked up against abuts a crappy old, dirty full time motel with shady characters and smells. No problems, just didn't feel secure as if the motel wasn't there or if we would have been tucked in elsewhere. Excellent little park and I still highly recommend. We camped at Green Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rancheria RV Park, Hat Creek, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Only complaints are that road noise is high, there is no cell service because of an observatory and Wi-Fi is poor and severely limited. Lots of trails, great sites, very pretty. Centrally located. We camped at Rancheria RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Klamath River RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very good location, clean park, nice owner. Would have given it higher rating except that only one row of park has 50amp and they are on a rolled hill that makes fully extended legs barely level. Grassy spots, good wifi, quiet. Spots are close together but easy to get into and out. No real complaints other than size and levelness of sites. We camped at Klamath River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Rating would very much depend where you are in the park. Overall the park is very nice and shaded and quiet. Unfortunately we were located in an end spot that seemed awesome until you realized the highway noise never stopped and some sort of loud mechanical pump was close and intermittent. If we were deaf I'd give it a ten. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park is beautiful, level, and paved, but not worth the extra cost in my opinion. Wifi is worse than usual rv park experiences and highway noise is horrible. All Windows closed, farthest from the road and with white noise fan and still loud. Service wasn't bad, but wasn't great either, just kind of curt and to the point only...no niceties. Space is short and narrow. Could barely park vehicle at a slant under hitch nose in order to fit in space. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Roadrunner RV Resort, Red River, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park in a beautiful place. Nice sites, quiet and good quality rv park. Only downsides were very poor Wi-Fi, good strength just doesn't work 85% of time. Also they charge $5 per day for extra vehicles, but that includes motorcycles with no extra trailers or space. We have what amounts to a cruiser lift on the back of our rig, the bike fit well within the space and they still charged extra.... Not sure why that would be necessary. We camped at Roadrunner RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Best place in town but they know it and charge for it and shouldn't add additional charges on top of that.
