Savannah South KOA, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Park is close to I95 and staff is friendly and helpful. But, that does not make up for the small tight size of the campsites. We reserved a pull through and it was too small for our Coach and Toad and very tight and hard to negotiate out from the next morning. Site was hard dirt w gravel and level w full hookups. We would NOT stay here again. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Motorhome.

North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground, Raleigh, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Campsite is for self contained rvs only w 101 full hookups. Clean and level parking on gravel w nice grass on both sides. Campsite is part of State Fairgrounds and close to all activities in Raleigh area. We are here now for Holiday and we will come back anytime we want to be nearby.

That said, campsite is hard to find and directions off website are not specific. I will be so now. Area is part of Horse Shows for NC Fairgrounds. A real jewel at the price for full 30/50 amp sites IF you can find it . We camped at North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Anything to do with NC State Univ that is adjacent to NC Fairgrounds. NCS Football Stadium is 1000 yds from Campground. Excellent shopping is off any exit of I 44o Beltway around city of Raleigh.

Campground is very hard to find in the dark of night, so arrive in daytime. From I 40 W get off exit #289/ Wade Ave and come to exit Edwards Mill Rd. Exit there South 2 miles to Trinity Ave. Left on Trinity Ave up the hill 2 miles to right turn on Youth Center Drive to Gate H7 into Campground entrance .

We are here in a 42' MotorCoach w 4 slideouts. Plenty of room and well worth the effort to find it. Enjoy !!!
