Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Sites very close to the South rim and free buses provided to go every where in the park. One bus goes into town and stops at a few restaurants. The site was asphalt and very bare. Picnic table was provided but chained down so could not move it far (to follow the shade). Staff were helpful and I will be staying here again. We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Woody Mountain Campground & RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here in a pull thru with my motorhome. Has been no rain for quite a while so the dirt roads were quite dusty. Only 30amp power but was not a major problem. While this seems to be an older park the staff were very helpful and drove thru the park quite a few time a day to check up. I stay here a few times every summer and will continue to. We camped at Woody Mountain Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tombstone RV Park and Campground, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

I have been here a few times and will be back. The hosts/owners seem to be constantly improving the park. While I have a short 30ft rv, the site was long enough to leave my car hooked up. They have a free shuttle on demand right to the center of Tombstone (I am so lazy). Park is quiet at night and everyone is friendly. Quite a few longer term people, by the month I think now that it is winter and beautiful. I can not ask nor think of anything more I would want. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

I just take the shuttle into Tombstone and wander around - it is not very big and enjoy lunch or dinner. Close to Bisbee and Sierra Vista and makes a great base.

Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Spent night on my way home to Phoenix. Great staff in office. My sister went to the observatory and thought it was great. Well presented and answered all questions and all had a chance to look thru telescope. The park itself was very clean and well maintained with about 30 pull thru spots and the balance back-in. As others have mentioned, you can hear the train at night and early morning. I kind of liked it and my sister thought it was too much. We camped at Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in a Motorhome.

Stayed for two nights with dog. Great park and service with the owner himself directing me to my spot and helping me hook up (newbie RVer). Staff is outstanding and helpful. Tombstone is for tourists (not a bad thing). Big Nose Kates was closed due to construction but the Longhorn was great for lunch!

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for two nights to attend the driving course at the Lazy Days next door (very good course). With my very limited experience this was a great place to stay. They have put up solar panels with pull thru spots underneath. Will be great in the summer. Each spot had a table and 4 chairs. They had a male lead on their cable hook-up and I also on my cable, the office had an adaptor ready for the asking. Again, for this newbie, this was great. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.
