Brookside Campsite, Cache Creek, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Check-in was easy. Very friendly staff. We were unable to get DirectTV but that has been the norm in Canada. Of course that's not the park's problem since all the other satellite companies were accessible. We camped at Brookside Campsite in a Motorhome.

This park is very clean and quiet. It is closed to Restruants and the bay. The spaces are separated by lattice fencing. Fire pit can be bought or rented. There are various games like corn hole, etc on the property and a fenced in dog run. We camped at Bodega Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shoreline RV Park & Campground, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed this park. It was clean, quiet and yes there is a fog horn but it wasn't that loud and had no problem sleeping with it. I didn't rate the showers as clean because of the sand people left in it. We would definitely stay here again. Great views of the ocean and lighthouse. We camped at Shoreline RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Diamond Lake RV Park, Diamond Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great park near beautiful Diamond Lake which offers fishing, boat and bike rentals. Nice level site, lots of trees. DirecTV worked great, Verizon cell service minimal, never could connect to wifi. Had a problem with power surges first day but once owner was aware he called an Electrition and problem was taken care of. Very close to north entrance of Crater Lake. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure and go to Crater Lake, be aware there is a lot of construction on the north side entrance and within the park itself. The parking in July was impossible.
Be sure and visit the Cinnamon Butte fire tower the views are unbelievable and the ranger who lives there is very friendly and informative. The 3 mile road up makes for a good hike or driving up the first 1 1/2 miles might be ok for cars but no motorhomes or trailers, 4 Wheel drive is best for last 1 1/2 miles for sure.

Tips for other Campers:

Take a drive to the Cinnamon Butte fire lookout. You can hike up to the lookout or drive the 3 miles (4 Wheel drive would be helpful, no motorhomes or trailers) and climb the tower and visit the ranger who lives in the tower. The views are unbelievable.

I also recommend the trolley tour at Crater Lake.

Lone Mountain RV Resort, O'Brien, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. There is a small pond to swim in BBQ area in center of park, gazebo, horse shoe game area. Laundry room was clean. Cost was $1.25 per wash and dry using the honor system. To take a shower the cost was $1.25 for 15 minutes which was a surprise.
No internet working (very frustrating) and minimal Verizon cell service. We camped at Lone Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Seven Feathers RV Park, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park, lots of trees. flowers and grass. Had great Verizon cell service and DirecTV. Great indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room, play ground area for children, 3 group fire pits. Check in is easy and staff leads you to your site. Very clean. Pet area near us was a gravel, dirt area.

This park should be an example for all RV parks. Loved it here, would return in a heart beat if in the area.

I have just one word of caution for those sensitive to gun shot sounds as there is a shooting range within earshot of park. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Park in a Motorhome.
