San Antonio KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We were put on a site to small for our MH, had to pull in in the opposite direction of other campers, we could not put our awning out, large tree in the way. The sites around us had patios for picnic table; ours did not. The site was not level. FHU, cable and Wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful when we needed directions. They had a bus for a fee that would take you to downtown so you did not have to drive. Charcoal grill on site. We camped at San Antonio KOA in a Motorhome.

Clark County Shooting Complex, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place for short stays, $20 per night, FHU, no amenities, level sites, small cafe on site. Need to make reservations in advance. This is a shooting range and you do hear gunshots, but shooters are doing target shooting, they were very friendly. Great place. Other campers were very friendly and if you own a gun you can use the range. They offer pistol range, archery, skeet, clays and a rifle range. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Motorhome.

Silver View RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We paid $425 for a month. This park had a page of rules and regulations that listed fines for breaking the rules but nothing was enforced. The owners were missing in action, even though website states they are onsite. FHU 50 amp site. Our site was not level. Monthly fee includes 900 kWh of electric. Gym but equipment was filthy. Park has park models. We paid extra for a premium site on the bluff, it overlooks Laughlin and the Colorado River. Nighttime lights are nice, but the wind was terrible, 40 MPH-plus at times. We could not put our slides out for fear of the ripping awnings; had to climb over the bed to get to bathroom. My husband asked if we could move to another site away from the bluff and we were told it would cost extra to do this. He explained that I was disabled and it was very difficult for me to keep climbing, he was told they would talk with management and someone would get back to me, never heard a word. Park had many open sites the entire time we stayed.

My husband's bicycle was stolen, he chained it to the tow dolly at night, someone cut the chain and took the bike. He reported it to the office and was abruptly told they are not responsible for personal property. He was told they would let security and owners know and someone would be in touch, again not a word from anyone. He reported it to police.

The site next to us was a park model, the people constantly had garbage in front of it, trash bins are only a short walk away. About the second week we were at the park the couple started fighting nonstop, so loud you could hear it inside our motorhome and they were inside. The few nice days we had to sit out we could not because of fighting.. A visitor from next door even came over and asked for alcohol, went office to report this and were told they are aware of the situation but did nothing. We camped at Silver View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
