About Priceless RV Adventures

We travel full time in our Redwood 5th wheel. We jumped into the full time lifestyle in July 2013--and LOVE IT! We enjoy staying in campgrounds. We like to be around other people. We also enjoy the amenities. Getting cell phone and satellite are important to us, because this is our home. We like to primarily use our Coast to Coast and our Resorts of Distinction memberships.

Breckenridge Lake RV Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very easy to find. In fact, this campground had the best directions and signage I ever remember seeing. Follow the directions on the website and you will have no issues getting to the campground. It is in a lovely rural area. Very quiet. There are no amenities except a clubhouse that is set up like a comfortable living room. The sites are on the small side; however there was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. They easily handle big rigs. Gravel roads through the campground. Each camp site is gravel. Sites are all very level. Most sites have a picnic table. 50 amp service. Good Verizon coverage. We were able to get DirecTV signal, but there are quite a few trees-so about ½ the sites would not get a signal. This campground is a nice, quiet place to rest up. It is near Cumberland Mtn. State park and multiple waterfalls. I gave it a 3 score because there are no amenities and smaller campsites, but I would not hesitate coming back. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lost Valley Lake, Owensville, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very easy to find. The best way to go into the campground is by going Hwy 50 to Hwy 19 to Hwy ZZ (it is just over 4 miles down Hwy ZZ). There are quite a few activities. We do not travel with kids, but there are a lot of entertaining things for kids: jumping pillow, playgrounds, pool, club house, boats and more. This is Resort property; there are multiple options available if you do not have a camper. Campsites are all different sizes. The first one we were assigned was half the size we would need. They were happy for us to look at other sites and move to another. There are many sites that easily handle big rigs. There was room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Some of the sites have a lot of trees, we prefer few to no trees. There is a section "Fort Wilderness" that has very few trees. There is a large grass area between rows of campers. People were enjoying yard games and throwing football. Campsites are gravel and most sites have picnic tables and a concrete patio. 50 amp service. Sites are all very level. Asphalt roads through the campground. The roads are in AWFUL shape. The signs to help with directions within the campground were poor. It was hard to follow the map and find camping areas. Let security help escort you to the campsite. Nice indoor pool. The Verizon coverage is very spotty. We used our booster and were able to get a signal, but very slow internet speed even with booster. We went to a clubhouse and got great WiFi signal. It was easy to get DirecTV satellite. There were several areas that obvious work is being done. It is obvious that they are working to make this resort even better. We will definitely stay here again. There is a restaurant on site, however it is only open on weekends. We camped at Lost Valley Lake in a Fifth Wheel.

Spring Creek Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very easy to find. It is a mile or so off the interstate. The manager of the campground is so pleasant and helpful. We thought we needed to extend our stay, she did not sell our site until she knew we were going to be able to leave. The campground is older, so the sites could be short, however, they put one RV in 2 sites-so there is plenty of space. It is impressive to see a campground that is interested in giving as much space as possible to each RV. They had been having a lot of rain, so there was plenty of mud; however, they had laid down straw to draw out the moisture. Sites were gravel with grass (and straw) between them. Because of combining 2 sites together for each RV, they easily handle big rigs. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. 50 amp service. Sites are all very level. We stayed for a couple of days so we could tour Nashville. It would not be a campground to hang around-but it is a good overnight campground. Very quiet. Some of the sites have a lot of trees, we don't like to park in a heavily treed area-we were happy to be in a section with very few trees. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Spring Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Garrity RV Park, Nampa, Idaho

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

If I were rating this park on the staff, I would give this a higher rating: they were great. This is an urban, "parking lot" style campground. There was room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep, but barely. Gravel roads through the campground. Each camp site is gravel with some grass between the sites. Sites are all very level. Most of the sites appear to be permanent campers in various states of disarray. Many had wood or Styrofoam skirting that was partially attached and part with big holes. We didn't care about the age of the campers, however, the dilapidated state of the campground was not good. There were vehicles in and out throughout the night. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Garrity RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pioneer RV Park, Hermiston, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is about 3 miles off interstate through town. Not that it affects my overnight stay, we found the staff to be very curt and cross. However, once we left office; they didn't affect our stay. This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. There were quite a few permanent RVs in the park, they were generally well kept. Easily handle big rigs. Easy to get into pull through sites. There was room in our site for the truck and wheel. Their policy for additional vehicles is to pay the nominal $3 fee, but gave us an empty campsite to put the jeep. Asphalt roads through the campground. Each camp site is gravel with small grass area between sites. Sites are all very level. This park is fine for an overnight stop. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Pioneer RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Neskowin Creek RV Resort, Neskowin, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

GPS did not give us great directions. Entrance to the resort sits directly on Hwy 101. Campground has a security gate. We had called before arriving and were given the security code. They offer Saturday breakfast and several other social events throughout the week. Easily handles big rigs. Sites are all 65' and gravel area wide enough for the 5th wheel and truck. Sites are gravel for the parking and a decent size grass area between. Gravel and Asphalt roads through the campground. The rain caused large pot holes in the roads, but they were diligent about grading the roads to repair holes. Each site had a picnic table and a fire ring. There is an indoor pool and hot tub area. Laundry room is small and could use a good cleaning and a couple of the machines did not work.

One cannot talk about this campground without mentioning the rabbits. They look like domestic rabbits... but there are signs to assure you they are not. Signs say the rabbits bite AND they can chew through vehicle wiring. There was rabbit poo everywhere, in fact each night we had rabbits depositing on our welcome mat.

This park is a good central location to visit the Oregon coast. Good Verizon coverage. It was easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Neskowin Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Issaquah Village RV Park, Issaquah, Washington

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is a good place to stay while visiting Seattle area. If you are looking for wide open sites in the wilderness, this will not be the campground for you. It was, however, perfect for our needs. They offer a Good Sam's discount. Campground was very easy to find and just off the interstate. Follow GPS and it will get you directly to the campground.

I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff are at this campground. We had some mechanical issues that caused us to be a day late in arriving. Even though this is a busy campground, they held our site so we did not have the additional stress of finding a new campground. The sites are very close together, but we were ok with this because we were visiting family. The sites are gravel with grass area between each site. The campground easily handles big rigs. There was additional parking available for us to park the toad. Asphalt, well maintained, roads throughout the campground. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. There is a very nice laundry room, although more expensive than we have paid in the past.

This campground is an easy trip in to Seattle. City accessibility was very important to us. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Issaquah Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Catfish Junction RV Park & Campgrounds, Huntington, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is a hidden gem. Campground is about 3 miles off I-84. The road off the interstate is winding, but a good paved road. Easily handles big rigs. Some of the sites are small. We had a large site with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. The sites are set up so most of the sites have a view. Sites are close together. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Gravel roads through the campground were in very good condition. Each camp site is gravel with a small grassy area. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. Campground is directly on the river. It was a lovely campground for a quiet break. We will definitely return. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Catfish Junction RV Park & Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Wasatch View Estates and RV Park, Ogden, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects Passport America. I have rated this park higher because it is perfect for this type of short stay. It would also be a good place to stay for longer if you were visiting the Ogden area. Campground was very easy to find, it is about a mile off the interstate. This park is a mobile home park that has permanent RVs and Mobile Homes. The empty spots they have made available for traveling RVs. Because the sites were originally set for MH, the sites are large. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. This park is great for a rest stop... Easy to find, easy in and easy out. Shopping and Restaurants are near. Asphalt roads through the park. There seem to be more than normal number of speed bumps. Sites are primarily gravel with concrete strips for tire placement. Some sites have a small concrete patio area. Sites are all very level. Individual trash cans for each site. We will definitely stop over here again. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Wasatch View Estates and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground was very easy to find. Campground is right off highway, so there is quite a bit of road noise. The park was very clean and easy to set up, it was a good overnight stop. This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. Easily handles big rigs. There was room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. The interior roads are gravel in the campground. Each camp site is gravel, with a small patch of grass. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. The wind was so strong, it was like being sand blasted-however, the campground can't change this. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. Pine Grove Village MH & RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very easy to find. Suggest using Exit #128, it is a more direct exit and avoids roundabouts. The staff in this campground are great. With our truck, 5th wheel and jeep, we prefer the longest site possible. This was a last minute stop for us, so we were thrilled they had such a large site available. The office closes earlier than some campgrounds, but they provide an after-hours phone contact number. This park seems to have a large number of permanent residents. It is a mobile home park with a large RV section, nice units. It felt very clean and well kept. It is very obvious that the new managers are very interested in improving this park. This park easily handles big rigs. Our site had a large concrete area for the RV, truck and jeep. Additionally, each site has a grass area. Asphalt, well maintained roads through the campground. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. Site was 50amp with good water pressure. Must be self-contained RV to stay here, they do not have showers or bathhouse. We do not use park facilities, so we did not care-but it was very nice that she mentioned it when I made the reservation. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove Village MH & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Campground was very easy to find, about 3 miles off interstate. There are a variety of different campsites available. Our site was a nice size. There were trees around to make it more than an RV "parking lot", but not so many that satellite was impossible. They have sites that easily handle big rigs. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Well maintained roads through the campground. Good Verizon coverage. We had good DirecTV satellite-but the manager made sure we knew it might not be a good signal. We will absolutely plan to stay here when we are in the area. Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground), Grand Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects C2C membership. There is a security station at the entry of the campground; it had staff in it at least half the time we were there. The staff were all younger and not "typical" campground staff-which made their efficiency and respectfulness so refreshing. There are a variety of different campsite layouts. I think part of the mixed reviews come from where the individual campers were parked. If we had been in the area with all the trees, we would probably not have enjoyed this campground. We asked for a site without trees. They directed us where to look in the campground and made some site suggestions. We were backed up to a wooded area, but our site had no trees. There are a variety of site sizes throughout the campground. There was plenty of room in our site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. This campground easily handles big rigs. There are Gravel and Asphalt roads through the campground. Sites have grass and some gravel. Although our site was very level, we saw some other sites that were on an incline (these all had smaller campers on them). Each site had a picnic table. Our area was electric/water only. There is a nice Pool area. There is a very nice laundry room. Very good Verizon coverage. Our site was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. In reading some of the reviews we were hesitant to stay at this campground. Our experience was positive; we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Price reflects C2C membership. Campground was very easy to find There is an additional resort fee, I'm not sure what that is for. It is a fine campground, but doesn't really merit extra "resort" fee. This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. There were some trees throughout the campground. The campground easily handles big rigs. Sites are close together, but there was plenty of room in the site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep. Gravel roads through the campground. Each camp site is gravel. Sites are all very level. Each site had a small concrete patio and picnic table. The picnic tables are just tables-no seats. Most tables appeared to be in desperate need of repair. There is a pool and hot tub area. Both the pool and hot tub are very small. The pool heater was broken the entire week we were there, so it was too cold to use the pool. Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite. Price reflects C2C membership. There are daily activities-some generated by campground and some by the residents. This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. However, they easily handle big rigs. Some sites were larger than others. They allowed us to pick the site that best worked for us. Gravel roads through the campground that are very well maintained. Each camp site is gravel. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. Only 30 amps available. Nice Pool and hot tub area. The pool is heated. There are 2 laundry rooms. The water has a lot of salt content, so beware of washing vehicles or the RV. We couldn't taste the salt; but see residue. Salt free water is available to purchase at the campground. We were able to get Verizon signal-but it was inconsistent and often very weak. Easy to get DirecTV satellite. We camped at Yuma Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We went into Los Algodones Mexico. It was easy to get in and get out. We parked in the lot outside the border and walked across. Try to leave before lunch because the border line can be really long as the day goes on. Recommend getting a referral for a dentist and optical before going in. We purchased several medications (antibiotics, etc). Got a hair cut and pedicure at Itzela's Beauty Salon--GREAT experience.
