Lancaster / New Holland KOA , New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is the place you need to go if you want to experience the Amish and Mennonite experience. No matter which way you turn out of the campground, within minutes you will come across Amish buggies or Amish children walking home from school or see the men behind their beautiful working horses tending their beautiful rich soil. Close by you will find stands selling fresh veggies and fruit or freshly cut flowers. The views out across the valleys are very nice and just begging for you to take a photo or two.

I have stayed at numerous KOA campgrounds from Mount Rushmore to South Florida and this is one of the very best. The lots are spacious and offer some shade. Sites are gravel and feature a fire ring, picnic table and patio. The owners work hard to keep this campground prestine. It shows in every direction you look. Our interactions with the owners were perfect. We camped at Lancaster / New Holland KOA in a Motorhome.

Orlando / Kissimmee KOA, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for 4 nights while judging a BBQ contest held at the Sams Club right next door. Our fellow campers were great to meet, the office staff quite nice, and overall it was a pleasant experience. A facility we would use again. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

High Springs Campground, High Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

There are some things to like about this campground, but a lot not to like. First of all, the owners or office staff was very nice, very helpful. Some of the bad things. They don't take credit cards. They might have 40' sites but if you are pulling a trailer, search for another campground. I barely got into the entrance, and on exit I barely got out. The roads are all sand, packed sand, the sites are all sand, packed sand. If you are looking for a shady rustic place, and don't have a large vehicle I am sure you would enjoy this campground. We camped at High Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Stonebridge Campground & RV Park, Maggie Valley, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful campground, great for visiting Maggie Valley. While it is true that there is a $5.00 charge for your guests, I can imagine that with their free NASCAR and movies at night on their giant outdoor big screen would draw people who are not staying at the park. In any event we really enjoyed staying here, we had a 40ft RV and a long 24' trailer with 2 big trikes on it, all fit on our site without disconnecting. We only had 30A but it was OK. I highly recommend this campground, I don't give out 9's usually. We camped at Stonebridge Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Motorcoach Resort St. Lucie West, Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We come here every winter ... stay awhile, it is not an overnight park, the longer you stay the nicer it gets. In regards to the 2 pet limit ... that is fine with us, in fact I have never been in a park that has allowed more than 2 pets. Losing customers over this ... hardly. I don't give out 10's very often, so it has to be something special for me to give one. Worth every penny. We camped at Motorcoach Resort St. Lucie West in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It's always a pleasure to stay at this park, our 4th or 5th time. This is our choice for an overnight stop or to stop to see the sights in Memphis. Nice and quiet, no noise except for the riverboat traffic. A great deal for the price they ask. Sites are very level and pretty good size. Staff is always friendly. We would stay here, obviously, again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Checotah / Lake Eufala West KOA, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice KOA. President's winner for a long time, and well deserved. The road noise is here, but what KOA doesn't have road noise? We stayed for 1 night after riding Oklahoma interstates (which has to be some of the worst in the US.) It was nice to stop the shaking and relax at such a nice RV park. We highly recommend it. We camped at Checotah / Lake Eufala West KOA in a Motorhome.

Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I have a problem with a CG which claims to have a service and then goes 3 days without providing that service. In this case it was WiFi. They had some sort of DNS issue and no one was able to fix it, thus the 3 rating. The park is old and they probably make a ton of money each year, so some sprucing up should not be out of the question. The park is the only place in town to stay and see Monument Valley which everyone should see just once. But it would be nice if Gouldings would fix issues and stop resting on their past glory. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Motorhome.

McArthur's Temple View RV Resort, St George, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Really seems to be more of a snow bird park than a stay a couple of days park. Has no pull throughs, unhook and back in, tight especially if the park models are on your site street. The staff is VERY customer driven, one of the best. I would stay here again and again if I am in the area. We camped at McArthur's Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I wish some stimulus money was sent their way, this campground could be SO MUCH more than what it is. It is tough for 40 foot rigs to move in around to your spots. It's location however is primo. They have a problem with the ravens eating and pecking at your sewer lines, so if you want to leave them out, cover them with a rug or something. I would stay here again. It's really the only place to stay if you want to be inside the park. We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed), Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park with some solid trees for shade during the hot days. Nice grass throughout the park . Excellent staff, convenient to Arches NP. We had a great time here, was perfect for us when visiting the area. Have never stayed at the other CGs in the area but they would be hard pressed to be any better than this one. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Motorhome.
