Just stopped for a night. Sites are close but there are trees for screening. The staff were SUPER nice. (Lot spacing was very close with some sites sunny/open and others with some shade. Site surface was asphalt/gravel and featured a picnic table.)

This was our favorite campsite so far. Hiking trails, beautiful campsites, kind camp hosts, a lake, fishing, swimming, super dog friendly, a disc golf park, beautiful area....so good we can't wait to return.

It happened to be raining when we were there and it flooded quite a bit. The maintenance guy was great, watching the flooding levels all night. They moved us to slightly higher ground. And refunded one night when we left early. So everyone was great there but from asking around at nearby campgrounds when we are trying to figure out where to go during the rain, this campground is known to flood. I felt it was overpriced for what it was. It is an older campground with smaller sites. But it is in a good location. And all the campgrounds are expensive there.

We had a nice shaded back-in site. The pull through sites are very close. The tent sites are really neat and some are close to a creek. The manager was super nice. It is in a larger day use park with big peacocks in it. Loved listening to them. Dogs can't go in the day use area but are allowed in the camping area.

The park has nice trails. There are only two that the dogs can go on. It was a bit expensive for what it was. The sites have nice foliage around them but i still felt close to people. My DH thought they were good sized spaces. You hear a lot of noise from nearby campsites.

Just stayed one night. Very clean. Close sites though. Staff were super nice!

Great views but the sites were kind of close. Great recycling program. Dogs cannot go off the campground onto any trails.

Nice sites but a little close to one another. It was quiet and the views were beautiful. Went on a nice hike. There are only a few places in the park where dogs can go. It is close to town and convenient for visiting Tucson.

The sites were very nice. The restrooms and showers were clean. Not much for hiking trails there but good places to hike within an hour away. We hiked in Spring Canyon Park. Most sites had a covered picnic table providing nice shade.

This was a gorgeous park. The sites are well spaced. And the sand dunes are so cool. No night time light pollution. Lots of walking trails. Cell services is spotty if that's important. But it is remote place. We saw two rattlesnakes mating when we drove in! Overall this was a fantastic place to stay, we hated to leave.

Nice park. Very little shade. The sites are uneven and would be hard for larger campers. Our water didn't work at our site. The maintenance guys tried to fix it unsuccessfully. They said it had been out for 2 days but the main gate didn't tell us that or move us when we checked in, despite the fact that plenty of sites were open. That could have been handled better. But the park is pretty and quiet. The sites are large. And there is hiking in the park.

Beautiful park with nice hiking trails. I bet it's busy in the summer. Good sized campsites and space between sites too. No internet but Verizon worked great.

Date of Stay:

The sites are fairly close together but pretty level. Lots of long-term people there. Quiet. The wifi was great and Verizon service was great. Our power pedestal didn't work but we were able to use the one at the next site without moving the camper. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. But there's just one for men and one for women and the shower, sink, and toilet are all in the one room. So if several people were sharing them, it might get busy. The camp staff person we met was super nice.
