Apache Wells RV Resort (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This place is really just a trailer park, not a "resort." Right next to a busy road and an airport: terrible loud noise from both. Permanent residents are very unfriendly and snooty, and I'm still trying to figure out why. Most of the permanent trailers are old and dated. NO cable tv, and terrible wi-if. Main facilities old and dated. All rvs and homes are tightly packed in small spaces, with no picnic tables. We won't be back! We camped at Apache Wells RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Paradise Island RV Resort, Oakland Park, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The entire staff was very helpful, friendly, and nice. But the park itself has much to be desired. It is in a bad neighborhood, and it sits next to a very busy street. We heard sirens constantly; as well as cars honking, tires screeching, boom boxes shaking the walls of our camper, and just overall loud noises and ruckus. The campground is old, and is in need of updating and overall repair. There was no security gate, and a sign posted in the office told the patrons to lock up their bicycles, as many bicycles had recently been stolen. We definitely did not feel safe staying here. It is sad that I have to write such a poor review about the park, because as I stated previously, the staff was very nice. We camped at Paradise Island RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Lakes Resort, Langston, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This place should be called a campground, not a"resort!" It was very old, and in need of cleaning and repair. The welcome center and game room building had mildew and mold on the exterior siding. The inside smelled musty, and looked as if it was stuck in a 70's time warp. The concrete pad at our camp site was cracked, and there were two big chunks of cement from the pad lying next to it. Several of the cabins we passed had siding hanging off. We would never stay here again! I can't fathom why it is called a "resort." To be fair, the one good thing I can say is that it is located next to Guntersville Lake, which is a beautiful lake. However there are other campgrounds in the area on the lake, and it wouldn't take much for them to be more appealing than this place! We camped at Mountain Lakes Resort in a Travel Trailer.
