Entry gate, you call ranger on a two way radio for entry and then it is downhill and sharp hairpin left turn into campground. Spaces in open area are very tight, mostly dirt, forget trying to open your awning. Our neighbor had theirs open on our arrival and our slide almost hit it. Spaces so close so you can hear every word your neighbor says, you basically have 6 feet to each side and 1 foot to the rear. Spaces in open area are about 50-60 feet long and they tried to put two 38 foot motorhomes back to back in a single 60 ft site. Tow vehicle had to be parked in separate area and with rear neighbor you had to walk around and through the mud, since it had rained. Unlike many others, we were not allowed to pick our site, we were shown to our site. One of the worse setups I have ever seen, an opinion many others arriving shared. Bathrooms are old but appear clean, but did not use. The pool and spa area looked clean, but again did not use. There is a small store, arcade, and dining room for activities. This camp has certainly given us an answer to purchasing a Thousand Trails membership and that is NO. This is the third Thousand Trails we have stayed at on our cross country trip and will never book with Thousand Trails again. They have no problem taking your money, but it is certainly not used for maintenance. Original booking was for two nights, we left after one. Hookups were good, although we were instructed to use the incorrect box so we had to change when our rear neighbor arrived.

There are very few options in this area and we found this park to suit our needs and close to Greenville. Access roads are paved and accessible for big rigs. Camp is gravel based pull thrus for easy access in an open area near local farm fields. Currently ten sites with plans to expand. The utilities are placed well and water, electric and sewer all functioned fine. Nothing fancy, no facilities, but clean and but the owners are wonderful people. Wide open skies, great reception for over the air antenna and no obstructions for satellite. If you are looking for a clean, quiet place to park this is perfect.

After looking at several reviews, we choose this campground based on previous guests. What a disappointment. The overnight sites are not at all level, the Wi-Fi is non existent and the bathrooms were atrocious. This is mostly permanents and, as other reviews have stated, drive by in their golf carts like lookie loos. Luckily we only stayed one night. Would not stay again if in the area.

The staff was very nice. Campground is located in a very wooded area and we had very little cell phone reception. The internet was fair, usually unable to use in the evening when everyone was back in camp. Best internet service was in the morning. The sites are gravel and fairly level. Had a heavy rain storm and did not flood our site. Trees provide nice shade. Each site has a table and fire pit and lots of room. This is the closest campground to Monticello, but might check other areas if we return.

Good for our one night stay, nothing fancy. Older park, but well maintained. Tight entry to park, had to pull into park to allow another rig in behind us. Bathrooms are clean, showers are on the small side. We requested a pull thru so we would not have to unhook, but the site was too short and we had to unhook toad. So if this is a concern, make sure to ask at check-in. There are longer pull thrus in the park. Cable and WIFI worked well. Quiet setting, no road noise. Would consider staying again, but would check other options first.

Rate reflects a week's stay. The resort itself is clean and the location was excellent for everything we wanted to do. Close enough to town, but far enough away from city noise and traffic. The reason for only an 8 rating, when we made reservations we were told we would have a bay pull in site. Upon arrival, not only did we not have a bay site, we were placed along the road which was under construction, so noise all day long. Wi-Fi was not working and needed a part that was going to take 2-3 weeks. Not a very pleasant arrival after such a long drive. BUT, on the up side, the resort is clean and the bathrooms and laundry area is very clean and showers are very large. Would stay here again, but would make sure to have a different site.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Had we known that we would not get a moments sleep, we would have driven a little more north. While the campground was clean, although we did not use any of the facilities, the noise at night was unbearable. So glad we were only staying one night. When we booked we were told they had plenty of spots and we would have a pull-through. Not only did we not get a pull through, the park appeared fairly full. There were pull-throughs in the front of the park, but we were forced to unhook our toad for the one night. Unless you don't have a problem with trains, tugs and horns all night, stay somewhere else!

Just arrived after hours of driving to find that some of the amenities listed on the web site are for owners and their guests only. The park was booked base on a few things, including the pool. But we are not allowed to use it. There is a VERY small asterisk and below it says for owners and their guests only. Because we were not able to get a premium spot, we are outlawed. When we went to the office, we were told "live with it". If it was not for the fact the holiday weekend is approaching, we would have left on the spot. What customer service. We will not recommend this park to any follow travelers or on our web site. It is apparent the owners of this park would like to create two separate parks, one of the site owners and one for everyone else because unless you are an owner you cannot use anything on the south side of the park including the dog area and restrooms.

As this is a new park, it is clean and is convenient to many area attractions. Nice level sites with gravel and grass between the sites. The lack of showers and laundry was a bit of a let down since it was advertised on the web site when we booked. They have not yet been completed. The hosts are very friendly and have lots of helpful information for the area. The golf course on the other hand was a disappointment. As stated earlier, most of the greens are made of Astor turf and difficult to try to land any shots. Only played one round of 9 holes, would not play again. Hopefully in time the course can be improved. This resort had it been completed and a improved golf course could easily rate a 10. Would stay here again.

Stayed in new section, very nice large site by creek. Very quiet, everyone very pleasant, park kept extra clean. Only rated 8 as there is no cell phone coverage, so if you need it you are in trouble as we were. Wifi worked excellent, only way we could conduct our business while here.
