Loveland Station Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We returned to this RV park again and stayed for 3 months at $240.00 a month. The summers are great with lots of trees, and the fishing is good and free, no license needed. The spots have good dish reception. WiFi is free, the pool is nice, put-put golf course is fun for kids. I'll be back for the winter snows. There was no pet charges. We camped at Loveland Station Campground in a Motorhome.

Spokane Creek, Keystone, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

First off the road in is a nightmare if you are in a motorhome. I drove though rock tunnels that were only as wide as my rig. We get there and they don't have sewer, only one restroom with three showers for the whole campground, there are no fire rings in the row they park RV's, no satellite dish coverage where they park the RV's but they do have a pay phone because you don't get service on your cell or air card. I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. We had paid reservations so no refund for early departure so we had to stay a week but only lasted 3 days. We camped at Spokane Creek in a Motorhome.

Nice park with lots of shade, big yards in some, some hook ups are back to back, very quiet, lots of wild life. We stayed here a month. The hosts were very nice folks and they are making a lot of nice changes. There are fish in the lake and fishing is free and no license required. We will stay here again. We camped at Loveland Station Campground in a Motorhome.

Greeley RV Park and Campground, Greeley, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a month in April and part of May 2009. The last time we stayed here it was nice and comfortable. They either got new management or owners because the price went up, and they have an electric charge. The rules are very strict: no watering the grass or rinsing of the snow from your rig or satellite dish. They are using well water which tastes like rank water. Sometimes it comes out of the faucet looking like hot chocolate, so carry a lot of water with you. I don't think I'll return unless they make some changes. If you have slides out you have about 4 feet from the neighbor's front door, not a lot of privacy. The Internet signal is very weak unless you are near the office. They tried to charge me $450.00 for electricity alone so do what we did and write it down when you get there. We didn't use electric heaters or air conditioning. We camped at Greeley RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Topspot RV Park at La Mirada Inn (formerly La Mirada RV Park), Belen, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Broke down here and needed to replace a motor in town. No alternative transportation, the garage changed dates a couple times, we stayed there for 10 days, and they charge us by the night, not the weekly rate, because we wouldn't know how long our stay would be. There was never anyone running the office, they have no supplies, not even a soda machine, no cable TV, you have to go to the office if you want to use the Internet. The only good thing about this place was the people staying here. We had one neighbor that came up and introduced himself and gave me the keys to his truck so we could go grocery shopping. We camped at Topspot RV Park at La Mirada Inn (formerly La Mirada RV Park) in a Motorhome.
