Lazy Longhorn RV Park, Victoria, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park has made some changes since last visit. There are more sites, but in doing this, the space for the pets to walk is now much smaller. The recreation room is nice but your time there is limited, as you must leave at nine pm every night, lights off, doors locked. We camped at Lazy Longhorn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Route 66 RV Ranch (formerly Sundown RV Resort), Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nice for a night or two, as we are doing now. Owners are very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Restrooms and showers are well kept, immaculate. Not much grass, but there is a small playground for kids. We are traveling towards home and wanted a place to land. There were not many spaces open - we got the last one. Sun-Down provided a restful experience for us. We camped at Route 66 RV Ranch (formerly Sundown RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Leaf Verde RV Resort, Buckeye, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This place is okay. The picture on the web site is deceiving. All we expect of staff is to be professional and somewhat friendly. The staff here were disappointing. The laundry room while nice, was closed daily from 8:30 - 10AM. The recreation room is a Morton building. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Calizona RV Park (55+ park), Needles, California

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Right to the point: We would give the place a high 7+. To get there, go right into Needles and turn right at Highway 95, then go about 4 miles. It's in the country. Really rather nicely kept for a place situated in the desert. Clean spot for a night. Restrooms, shower were clean. Washers and dryers also here. It's not at all grassy: expect sandy, dusty roads. We'd stay again for a night. We felt safe and spent a quiet relaxing night. Met others who stay all winter. Golf is close by. We camped at Calizona RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Well, I'll cut right to the chase here: Lake Pleasant RV Park is just okay, a clean place to stay for the night or longer if you want. You know how some places have "no personality"? This is the place. It is so-so. It is said that this is the best one around. It might be the best of the mediocre. We gave it a 7 because it is clean. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jones High Country RV, Nephi, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a perfect night's stay for two tired travelers and our faithful friend (dog). Staff were so courteous, efficient, and professional (you could tell this wasn't their first day). No amenities, but quiet and clean. Just a spot where you don't have to worry about anything. We breathed deep and enjoyed it! You will too. We camped at Jones High Country RV in a Motorhome.
