We have stayed at this campground many times before. Although I enjoyed my stay, I wasn't quite as impressed this time around. The rate has increased, but they don't seem to be putting as much work into the campground. Our site was terribly unlevel and the grass on some of the sites were almost knee high before they took care of it. Very empty when we were here. Utilities including 60 channel cable worked well. Got Wi-Fi for three of the six days, as it was quite expensive. (Should be free with the high daily rate.) The Wi-Fi was very good, however. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'd return again.

Good overnight stop. Convenient to I-95. Felt price was about $5 a night too high, but they are investing the money into fixing this place up. They've put a lot of work into sprucing this place up. Site was nice as was the dog run. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but were efficient. Utilities were good. Free Wi-Fi was outstanding. 40 channel DirecTV hookup had lots of premium movie channels, but the reception was fuzzy. Didn't have a chance to try the pool. Would stop here again for overnight or a few days to go to Kings Dominion.

$49 base rate ($54 w/tax). Immaculate campground. The site we picked was beautifully landscaped. Park is meticulously taken care off 2 nice pools, friendly staff, and clean restrooms. Outstanding views of the intercoastal and saw the most vivid rainbow I've ever seen here. Heard restaurant was nice, but didn't try. Utilities were good including 70 channel cable and fast free Wi-Fi. Had no problems with the 50 amp electric. Free public beach parking at beautiful Coligny park. I was very disappointed with Tybee Island but absolutely loved Hilton Head. I absolutely recommend this place!

Pretty campground on a small lake. Staff was very friendly. All utilities worked well including the 60+ channel cable. Free Wi-Fi could stand to be improved a little. Laundry price was very affordable and propane dryers dried clothes in a heartbeat. Trailer wash was good. Nice pool. Our pull-through was sandy but level and reasonably roomy; however, some sites were close together. About a 25 minute drive into Savannah. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Savannah or even as an overnight stop on our way to/from Florida. (Less than 1 mile from I-95.)

Very nice, new campground. Our site was huge and offered a great view of the river. Convenient for visiting friends in Emerald Isle. Bathrooms and showers were nice. Beautiful pool with a great waterslide. W,E,S worked fine as did the 70 channel cable. I could never connect to the Wi-Fi when I was here. Would certainly stay here again.

This was a descent overnight campground in the past, but is really in poor condition now. Office staff were friendly and professional. Pool was maintained and a welcome relief to the 106 degree heat. Campsite was long enough, but terribly unlevel. Wi-Fi was outstanding from our site in the front of the campground. Cable was not available when we were here due to Comcast switching over to digital. Park is WAY OVERPICED for the condition it's in. Should be $20 a night. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. Hopefully someone buys this campground soon and fixes it up as there aren't that many campground choices around.

Nice campground with friendly staff. Site was long enough for our 38' fifth wheel to stay hooked up. Campground is fairly convenient to I-81. Nice pool which the office kept open late due to the 97 degree heat. All hookups worked well. Excellent Wi-Fi at our site right near the office. Cable (DirecTV) had 36 channels and worked fine. The heat didn't help the smell from nearby farm lands. We would certainly stay here again.

Not impressed with this campground. Pros: pool was nice with lots of activities, lazy river just Ok. Beach was fine. W/E/S were good as well as 50 channel cable. Free Wi-Fi was fast. Bathrooms were outstanding. Staff was very friendly. Sites were nice size for being by the ocean. Nice snack bar. Close to attractions. Cons: Felt this place was overpriced as compared to others in the area. Roads aren't paved leaving things very dusty! Picnic shelter location made our spot nearly impossible to get out of. This campground lacks the landscaping the Big three campgrounds farther south have making it seem more like a parking lot. Our bikes were stolen. (Didn't reflect this in the rating as it wasn't the campground's fault.) Limited to no security made this place feel not as secure as the other campgrounds. Beach wasn't as large as at the other campgrounds. Overall, I was not impressed with this campground and would likely return to another park instead as it was a couple dollars cheaper a night and IMO a nicer campground.

First the good. The River was pretty, the cable and wi-fi were outstanding, and this campground has the many activities for children. The owners are also very good business people in the way they have found innovative ways to make as much money possible to accommodate the short camping season in New York. However, the "supersite" we stayed on was very narrow and possible the most unlevel site we have ever seen. This campground is really designed for trailers under 30 ft. Also the 30 Amp electric was very poor and desperately in need of updating as the voltage was extremely low. Also, this campground is designed very poorly in the way that the river sites or only accessible by one narrow dirt road making it very difficult to leave after a busy Labor Day weekend because the road isn't even close to being wide enough for two campers to pass each other. The dump station is also located along this narrow road complicating matters even more. Lastly, several sites were very muddy to the point where one motorhome had to be pulled out of their site with a tractor. I'm not sure we'll return to this campground.

We camp here several times a year as it is close to our home in Syracuse. The sites are vey spacious, but certain sides can be very muddy. if you get one of these sites they will put stones down on the muddy areas upon request. The pool is nice, the campground is well-kept and the ponds are pretty. The cable TV was pretty good. My only complaint is every time we go there the Wi-Fi has been horrendous. Half the time it doesn't work at all and even when it does the page times out because it is so slow. Would love to see them fix this problem. We are are going back in October and will be staying in a different part of the park, so I'll be able to see if the Wi-Fi works any better there.

Campground is beautiful and well-kept. The pool and waterslides look nice, but weren't open yet. Not much to do in the area. Activities at the campground are limited this time of year. Sites, although back-ins, were very roomy (a lot more room than on the super sites). The small lake was beautiful at night with many lights. Hookups were good. Wi-Fi was reliable as was the 70+ channel cable TV. My only real complaint was the subpar bathrooms. The amount of showers was very insignificant for the size of the campground and one of the showers was broken. Would love to return to this park during the summer.

Date of Stay:

Very nice resort-type campground. Sites were tiered and private. Pools were nice and staff was helpful. The Cable TV didn't work at our site, so we had to plug in to the next site. Comcast never showed up to fix it (they lock the pedestals to keep campground staff from trying to fix it). Highway noise is minimal. Wi-Fi works well, but it isn't free so I expect it to. Would stay here the next time I visit Gettysburg.

Date of Stay:

Nice campground for exploring Williamsburg. The sites were landscaped nicely and offered a concrete parking pad and patio. The sites were a little tight though. The pool was a little too small. Park was kept up very nice and the landscapers are constantly working. Bathhouse was nice, but needed to be air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi was terrible, unusable most of the time. The 45 channel DirecTV offered by the park was decent and provided premium movie channels. We've stayed both here and the KOA and would say it's pretty much a toss-up.

Date of Stay:

Nice campground. Nice sites. Good Cable (over 70 channels) and Wi-Fi. Convenient to I-95 as well as outlet mall. Staff was friendly and courteous. Great showers. Would use this again as an overnight stop.

Date of Stay:

Great overnight stop. Was easy access to I-95. Nice pool. Good Cable and Wi-Fi. Trailer wash is way overpriced at $20! Friendly staff. Convenient stop in route to Myrtle Beach.
