Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean, very nice large park. There are RV sites (short-term and long-term) available as well as park model and mini double wides available. Staff assisted us to our site and directed us as we backed in. Sites clean and lots of shade. Beautiful pool and large club house. Lots of activities and most campers that we met were SNOW BIRDS! We stayed at this park several years ago when it was just getting started and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it has become. The RV park has a small hamburger shack near the pool. There are LOTS of planned activities that include pot-lucks, prepared meals at minimal cost, and much more. We were only there for two nights but the RV'ers we met were very friendly and spoke highly of the management of the park. Seemed to be a perfect destination for Snow Birds! We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Town of Williston very small. Not much to do. There is a Winn-Dixie and a Walgreens. A couple of restaurants.

Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

We love the laid-back attitude of the Keys and this RV park suits us. Sites are grass but most have concrete decks with picnic tables. Nice pool. Tropical landscape and location right on Gulf. We have stayed there twice and were water-front once and just off this last time. Site was small but adequate for our RV. This is NOT a luxury park but offers docking, boat ramp, and swimming/snorkeling area. RV's ranged from tents to LARGE motor homes and all campers were friendly and helpful to each other! We will continue to camp there! We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We love eating at the local restaurants. Highly recommend KEYS FISHERY and SPARKYS. There are lots of t-shirt stores all over Marathon. We also like to go to Key West and we used local bus transportation. (Check for local pickup sites.) we also timed this last visit to be in Marathon for the annual SEA FOOD FESTIVAL AND CRAFT SHOW!
