From the time we made our reservation we should have realized that this stay was doomed. We phoned ahead to reserve a site only to be put on hold waiting and waiting and waiting. Once we finially got a person to take our information we were cut off due to our cell phone service losing signal. We called back to complete our reservation and headed on in. Upon arrival we were told that we did not have a reservation. What? Finally after back and forth conversation it was determined that our name had been entered into the computer wrong and our reservation was located. We got to our site and found it suitable but not outstanding. We set up, got a bite to eat, and set out for an evening walk through the park. The restrooms were OK, not the best. The grounds neat and clean. The store was stocked with camper's needs but not much more. Maybe it's still early in the season. Would not highly recommend this park, but it worked for an overnight stay.

What a pleasure! From the moment we turned into the beautiful entrance we could tell that our choice for our "home away from home" in Savannah was a great one. The front desk was staffed by the most pleasant and courteous staff we could have hoped to be served by. We later discovered that this to be the manager and we were most impressed that she and her husband were both willing to not only manage the park but to put in time working and providing excellent service to their guests. Our site was a spacious pull-through. Although we've had larger sites at other parks, we had no complaints with this site. It was long enough for us to leave our tow car attached although many others we observed did disconnect and park in the front of their rigs. The grounds were well kept and the lake was lovely. A calming evening was spent gazing at the swans swimming along the shore. Although we use our own restroom and shower facilities, we took a peek at the park bathouse and found it sparkling clean. The campground store was stocked with all the items any camper could want or need. Quite a variety of groceries, snacks, sodas, and ice cream. We recommend this park to anyone wishing to spend time in a park that offers the comforts and care often only found when visiting an old friend.

A beautiful park with sites that are rented when the lot owners are not utilizing them. Gives the "everyday" RV'ers a chance to rent a site that may not be normally available to them everyday. Where the beauty of the sites excelled, the amenities of the park were lacking. The showers were located in the office building and not available after hours. There was no club house and the laundry consisted of only 2 washers. Would recommend this park for a one-time visit as the cost of sites wasn't really worth the overall offerings of the park.

This was a stop-over just to get off the road so we could eat and sleep. The park was old with sites that had been redone to accommodate larger rigs, although they were not level and still rough. No store for purchasing needs and restrooms we didn't even look for. Would not stop again, the price wasn't reflective of what was provided.
