Meridian RV Resort (55+ park), Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Some people will love this park. Age restrictions have many exceptions. Harleys are welcomed. Pool is sometimes dirty. One telephone for public use (Vonage). Too few washing machines. No trees on sites. All spaces have a concrete patio and desert grit for your rig. Only one paid staffer; all others are volunteers. Many volunteers not returning next season. Friday night happy hours are BYOB. The dog park is wonderfully grassy and well-lit at night. We would not return. We camped at Meridian RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived later in the evening and received a lovely pull-through away front the road. Location was ideal. We camped at Deerwood RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Destiny RV Resort / Phoenix West, Goodyear, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2006 - $32.00

Arrived early evening after long day. Pool was closed for an unknown reason. WIFI was not in range, but could hit the clubhouse with an underhand lob. Our rig was slightly out in the road, allowing for some maneuvering. We camped at Destiny RV Resort / Phoenix West in a Travel Trailer.
