CreekFire Motor Ranch, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Front desk check in went smooth and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just opened and still some growing pains and construction happening. Site 94 had great view of the lake and when the second bathhouse if finished, it will be very close. Gated access which is adds to security. No cable yet at the sites near the lake. They are in the process of installing it. But you can get many over the air stations. Water spigot is too close to the ground for a filter to be attached. The water pressure was great. I think my site was the lowest in the campground. Concrete pad was level and sewer is low enough to drain very well. I had a little trouble plugging in my 30 AMP do to the lower lip of the box being close to the plug. I switched to my 50 AMP pig tail which worked well. Overall great hospitality. They had free dinners and other activities while we were there. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept park. I like the small family type campground feeling here. Second stay in same spot -B3. Private spot with view of the large open field and horse pasture. Grass and level. the sewer connection could be about 6 inches lower to make it work better. Office/bath house/laundry etc are right next door. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Spent 5 days. The weather was so so but this place is first class. Great staff. The TV cable came in handy due to all the rain! This is a beautiful RV Park. Worth the price. We camped at Anchor Down RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
