Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed on site 313 which was a level gravel back in site with a concrete pad. The sites give you ample room to open slides on both sides and the roads are wide enough to navigate and make it easy to back into your site. The wifi and TV were very good here and the park has a good size dog park. The plus to this park is that for $10. a shuttle arrives at the park each hour to transport you to the downtown area which well worth it as parking is an issue. The staff were extremely friendly and and will assist in selecting and obtaining tickets for events. The park is next door to a Camping World and just off the freeway but is quite. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $74.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed at this park for one night one a gravel pull through site. The full service site was long enough to stay hooked up but was very uneven, and as with most of the sites in this park, they are very tight. The roads are narrow and can be difficult to navigate with a larger unit. The staff at this park were very pleasant to deal with and the gift shop and coffee shop are very nice. The real down side of this park is the price point which I believe is too high for the condition of the sites and the roads. But with that said the park was at full capacity so it would appear to be a favourite location for people in the area. We camped at Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Camping Transit, Levis, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park for 6 nights in a fifth wheel while visiting Quebec City. Upon checking in were we greeted by the husband and wife team who own and run this park. And following the efficient checkin, we were escorted to our full service large grass pull through site by their son. These folks are probably the most friendliest, accommodating and welcoming owners you will ever encounter. The park was extremely clean and all the sites were spacious and well kept. The Wifi was fast but there is a charge of $15.00 per week for two devices. The roads are wide enough to navigate and like all of the park, are in good shape. If you want to visit Quebec City, the owners will shuttle you to the Levi Ferry Service which crosses into the downtown area and they will also pick you up upon your return. Overall this is a great park and we would recommend staying here while you are in the Quebec City area. We camped at Camping Transit in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Hither Hills, Ottawa, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for 5 days while visiting the Ottawa Capital Region in a fifth wheel. This is a nice park with gravel roads and gravel sites which can get muddy during rain periods. Our site was a full hook minus cable. The park is dated and will require some TLC but is a good choice for visiting the Ottawa Region as it is a very short drive to the down town area and all amenities. The owner was friendly upon our return and accommodating in assisting us in setting up on our extremely long pull through site and recommending great "Must See" events. We camped at Camp Hither Hills in a Fifth Wheel.

Camping la Cle des Champs, Saint-Philippe, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for two nights while visiting Montreal which is a 35 minute drive to the down town Old Port area. Upon arriving at this part in a rural setting, we were welcomed by an extremely friendly staff. We were then escorted to our site on paved roads to a pull through site with full hook up minus the cable. This level site was gravel with a concrete pad, residential style patio set with a swing bench and one of the nicer fire pits I have seen any RV resort. There is a club house in this park, beautiful pool, clean laundry and shower facilities. The only thing that was lacking in this park was the speed for the wifi but we were informed that a new system was being installed this week to address this issue. We have already made plans to visit here in 2018 and to stay a little longer. We camped at Camping la Cle des Champs in a Fifth Wheel.

Chignecto North Campground (Parks Canada), Fundy National Park, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this campground in a 5th wheel while visiting Bay Of Fundy area. Our site was a level gravel 70 ft pull through site with water, sewer and power. Great spacing between the sites but caution when navigating through the park as there are many low hanging branches. The staff do an excellent job in keeping this park clean and all of our interaction with the staff have been very positive. This park is 5 minutes from the town of Alma and 30 minutes from Hopewell Rock, which is a must see when in this area. We camped at Chignecto North Campground (Parks Canada) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA, Cornwall, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park for 3 nights in a Deluxe pull-through site. This site was level with a gravel base and long enough to accommodate our 38 ft trailer and truck. This was a full service site with the exception of cable. I would recommend if staying here to book a pull-through site by the river as the view is well worth the extra few dollars and the sites are spaced more than the back-in lots that are at the back of the park without a view. This is an exceptionally clean campground and the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. This park is 10 minutes from Charlottetown, approximately 25 minutes from Cavendish Beach and 25 minutes from the Confederation Bridge. Fresh lobster was for sale on the parking lot of the Esso which is 5 minutes from the park for $7.00 a lb at this date. The only small point that could be a improved is the size of the dog park, as it is small but will do and is very clean and grassed. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this park as a good stop while exploring Prince Edward Island. We camped at Cornwall / Charlottetown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC), College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 5 nights in a fifth wheel while visiting the DC area. Our site was a back in full service gravel site that was level and accommodated our 38 ft rig and TV. The sites were very narrow so much that our neighbour's awning was less than 1 ft from the side of our trailer. The park is extremely clean and has all the amenities you will require. The Wifi was fast, there were numerous cable channels, swimming pool and water pressure was great. On site there is s restaurant that served a great breakfast. What is outstanding about this park is its location and the staff. The park holds an information session each day on transportation, tours and many other helpful tips to enhance your stay. The night tour of DC arranged by the park is excellent. We are definitely going back here as 5 days is not enough for the area and the park is a great stop. We camped at Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC) in a Fifth Wheel.

American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting nearby Williamsburg. Our site was a pull through concrete pad and was level. The staff here are extremely friendly and have done an excellent job maintaining this park. The Wifi is strong and there are a large number of cable channels. The roads are a bit tight but did not pose a problem. We would stay here again as this is an ideal stop if visiting Williamsburg. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Whispering Pines Campground, Rincon, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nights on a gravel back in site by the lake. This is a nice park but time and lack of upkeep is taking its toll. The sites are tight and I would only recommend this park for a short stay when in Savannah. If you are planning a stay here request a site by the lake as the sites in the front portion of the park are noisy with the highway traffic and the sites there seemed congested. We camped at Whispering Pines Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park a little over a year ago and this park still remains a good destination stay when visiting Charleston. This time we stayed on a pull through site for 2 nights in section F on a pebble rock pad and found the site to be level and wider than the site stayed on during our previous stay. Wifi was stronger in this area due to closeness to a repeater. The park was nicely manicured and the facilities were clean at all times. We will no doubt stay here again when visiting the area. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pippy Park Campgrounds and Trailer Park, St John's, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for two weeks in a 38 ft fifth wheel on a full service gravel pull site in loop 4. This is a full service loop with wifi but no cable. There are only two channels over the air. The park is in the centre of the city but has a country feeling until at night when the traffic noise is very evident in the loop we stayed in. The park is close to all amenities but for the price does not offer much. The sites have a picnic table but a fire pit can be rented and placed on your site for the night. The roads are easy to navigate and are mostly back in except loop 4. We camped at Pippy Park Campgrounds and Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Codroy RV-tent Camping Park, Doyles, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on our way across Newfoundland and on our way back to catch the Nova Scotia ferry. We only stayed here one night each way but were impressed with this very nice clean park. We stayed here in a 38 ft fifth wheel and was given a gravel level back in site that we did not have to unhook on. The ladies at the check in were very friendly. This park is only 1 km from the highway and approximately 30 minutes to the ferry. We camped at Grand Codroy RV-tent Camping Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Beach Camping Area, North Conway, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a weekend on a pull through full service site. Cable had ample channels and wifi was excellent. The new owners have only purchased this park approximstely a year ago and are in the process of making some positive changed. This park is wooded and feels like a state park. Each site has a fire ring and table and are spacious. The surface of our site which was on the Soco Rivet was mostly sand and can be messy. Overall this was a good place to stay and we would visit again. We camped at The Beach Camping Area in a Fifth Wheel.
