Glen Ivy RV Park, Corona, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Clean pool and grounds. Generous site, some with shade. Wifi worked fine. We were close to bathroom number 7. Showers either need mould removed or new paint. Many bathrooms throughout the park. Wifi works off each bathroom number. Our site was not level and was in full afternoon sun when other sites were available in shade. Lots of permanents. Very nice owners/mangers. Need to show proof of registration, insurance and ID and they check your RV before entering for any leaks. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Chuckwagon RV, Fort Laramie, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

I called to make a reservation as we are PA members, and was told you don't need to make a reservation. When we arrived the owner/manager told me she likes to have reservations so that if people don't show up she an charge their credit card anyway!

We stayed here one night and that was enough!

The owner/manager was very nice and friendly and the grounds are well kept. We arrived and she placed us in lot# 4 which was fully in the sun on an unlevel site. As we were setting up, another RV came in and she put them in the shady level site with a picnic table :(

After we managed to level up, we settled down for the night: that's when the trains started. The owner never mentioned the noise that would go on ALL NIGHT! Every 1/2 hr a train would go past blasting theirs horns for the level crossing! ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT!

The campground is no more than 100 yards from the tracks so you can imagine the noise. If we had known the trains ran all night, we would have moved on.

They also give you the password for the wifi. Forget it: wifi was hopeless and no phone or hot spot signal T-Mobile or AT&T. We camped at Chuckwagon RV in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent facilities. Very clean bathrooms and laundry. The grounds are well kept as is the sparkling pool. Very friendly staff and night staff to keep others out. This is an adults-only park. No one under 18 allowed to stay so there is no "kids" noise. Wi-Fi usable but not the fastest and dropped out more times than it was on. The only gripe I would have was some of the more permanent residents thought they owned the place and would take refuge in the games room from the heat but would then stretch out sleep on the lounges so there was nowhere to sit :(. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Red Ledge RV Park, Kanarraville, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We needed somewhere with electricity to escape the heat and this place was VERY affordable. We didn't have a booking so we had to take what they had. We were in the main park. The site we had was VERY small. We don't have slideouts and we are only 22 ft. Once the RVs either side of us put their slideouts out, we could NOT walk up beside our motorhome or even open the driver's door :( There was no way we could put our awning out. The Wi-Fi was adequate and the laundry is cheap, good and clean. They have numerous outdoor areas and a hot tub. The owner is a lovely lady. The only negative? The power kept popping in the park as everyone was running their air conditioners due to the heat but the owner was on top of this every time it happened. We didn't like the water here, it left a horrible ring in our kettle so we avoided using it for coffee but it was fine for showering and dishes. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dazzo's Desert Oasis (formerly Dazzo's Restaurant & RV Park), Wikieup, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We paid the weekly rate of $75.00 This is a gravel lot with RV spots. They have both pull-thru and back ins. The restaurant on site that has good food. You pay extra for power @ $0.14 per kw. We stayed 6 /7 days to escape the Arizona heat. No TV channels and wi-fi was poor. The restrooms need a good clean and the laundry, although cheap, is outdoors. It states it has a pool but the only pool we could see was in someones yard space? Store is VERY basic. The nearest shopping would be Kingman which is approx 1hr away. We camped at Dazzo's Desert Oasis (formerly Dazzo's Restaurant & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Manatee Hammock Campground, Titusville, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shady park, although there is grass, most sites are sandy. We had a nice shady spot with a water view. RV sites have electric, water & sewer

Restrooms/showers , laundry clean and well maintained. WiFi was free but not fantastic

There is a pier on the river and we found this a great place to watch the launch at Cape Canaveral. There is also large fenced dog area.

We paid $12.50 for 2 nights with PA discount and one night full price. I would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Manatee Hammock Campground in a Motorhome.

Green Tree Lodge and RV Park, Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Flat gravel sites. Clean showers and nice and hot, although we were not told where they were located. No password was offered for the WiFi and when we went to the office, no one came to assist. We paid for full hookup but the site the person sent us to didnt have a dump site so we went were we wanted as the park was empty. They were quite rude to our children who rang them from Australia, very concerned, as they couldnt reach us via phone or internet. Very insensitive. I would not stay here again due to this fact :( No wonder your park was empty, no customer service. We camped at Green Tree Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pine Acres Campground, Aiken, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This park is nothing special. Just off a busy road. Showers are old and dated. Not the cleanest. Laundry was fantastic and reasonably priced. Cable TV available and more than adequate WiFi. We stayed 2 nights because it was cheap and we needed to do some maintenance on our camper. Very good for those on a tight budget. We camped at Pine Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Liberty Harbor RV Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $105.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills RV park. The sites are snug and are gravel. We paid $90 for our first night (a Thursday) then $105 per night for Fri, Sat & Sun. The showers are nothing spectacular but the water pressure and temp make up for it. The WiFi is OK at times...not the fastest but it works. The location of this park is FANTASTIC!!!!! It is a short 12 minute flat walk to the Warren Street Wharf where you catch the ferry over to Financial District in New York City or over to Liberty Landing. The cost to New York is $7.00 each way or you can buy a book of 10 for $55.00. The park is very quiet on the weekend but can get noisy during the week due to construction work around the marina. The sites only have water & elect. There is one dump station near the restrooms. I didn't use the laundry as I thought it was too expensive but it looks modern and clean. The staff helpful and friendly. We camped at Liberty Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed during the week in off season and it was very quiet. Th only negative would be there is only one laundry :( We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Top O' The Caves, South Bloomingville, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two nights. The first night we arrived late and were given our site that was virtually on the side of a hill. We do NOT having levelers so we were on a BIG lean to the side and back...not very comfortable. Spoke to the office the next day and they moved us to a more level site :) Very pleasant staff and knowledgable about the surrounding area. Didnt use the restrooms or laundry so cant comment on those. The park looks lovely and green and in better weather, the trails would be fantastic. We camped at Top O' The Caves in a Motorhome.

Trail RV Park & Campground, Swift Current, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

They gave us a choice of sites but never being here before, I had no idea. The water/dump is at the end of the site and the power is shared between two sites. They put us in a site next to another rig and the power was on the wrong side. We moved to the next site over and they never said anything. After paying for a full hook up, we still had to PAY for showers so we just used our tiny one. Wi-Fi was virtually non existent. It was very quiet. New staff member and she was unsure of what she was doing. They were very polite though. We camped at Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Candlestick RV Park, San Francisco, California

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $89.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very close to downtown. We stayed 5 days and found it to be OK. Noise in the morning is very loud from construction on the old Candlestick Park. The park is in a rundown part of town and the approaching street is not great. Good laundry facilities although expensive. Showers are old and mouldy. There is a separate TV room with table tennis, tv and PC with printer for guests use. There is also a basic shop in the office that offers VERY basic needs. There is a shuttle bus to downtown that works out to be very expensive if used everyday. We used Uber, which was a lot cheaper.Security guards posted at gate at night was both reassuring but also worrying. I don't think we would stay here again, probably try another San Fran park. This park is expensive for what it is. We camped at Candlestick RV Park in a Motorhome.
