Carolina Beach State Park, Carolina Beach, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice clean park with lots of room and trails. It is only a few blocks from the public beach access and has many walking trails. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves. If you're looking for more of a resort type camping experience try the campground about a mile away. We camped at Carolina Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

These sites are large and sandy, but not as level as I would have liked.

Carolina Beach Family Campground, Wilmington, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

It is easy to confuse this campground with the Carolina Beach State Park. There is indeed Wi-Fi over this entire campground. We received a map when checking in which clearly shows 16 hotspots. This is also indicated on their website. The sites are actually quite large and none of them are un-level or sandy. People should really pay closer attention to at least the correct name of the business! Overall it's not a bad place. Very shady, quiet, and close to the water. We camped at Carolina Beach Family Campground in a Motorhome.
