The Lakes RV & Golf Resort, Chowchilla, California

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

What a wonderful RV park campground! Beautiful landscape, very clean with well kept grounds and big rig friendly. Long pull-through for our 43 ft MH with tow and didn't need to disconnect. Grass on each side of parking pad. The park is part of a golf resort and is gated. There's a wonderful bar and grill (The Final Round) at the Country Club overlooking the golf course that is easily accessed from the back right gate. They give you a key card to get in and out of the park when you check in. Would highly recommend staying here. Friendly and helpful staff. We camped at The Lakes RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Goshen Springs Campground, Brandon, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Would highly recommend a stay here if you are traveling the Natchez Trace. The campground is about 3 miles off the Natchez Trace Parkway across the Reservoir. We were a little hesitant about staying here since most reviews were over a year old, but we are so glad we did! Such a great find! The park does have some seasonal and some permanent residents but we overall found the park to be clean and well cared for. We were in the "N"section and all sites are back-in but they were plenty long enough for our 43 ft MH with space to park our toad. The landscaping was very nice with trees, shrubs and grass on each side of concrete parking pad. It was very quiet and peaceful and not very full while we were there. FHU with 50 amp service. One minor thing I could possibly mention was that our picnic benches were a little worn and slightly warped but we didn't use, so it wasn't an issue. We camped at Goshen Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Really great KOA Campground! Host were super helpful and friendly. Very large well laid out park with good space between campsites. Easy to maneuver a big rig though the park. They were out of pull through sites but our 43ft MH fit without any trouble in a back-in site with room to park our tow. Campground was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Also, very quiet where we were. Convenient to Opryland and easy access on and off freeways. Would definitely recommend staying there if you are in Nashville. Gravel interior roads but surprisingly there wasn't a dust issue. We had a gravel pad with nice grass area on both sides and FHU. Wifi worked better than most campgrounds we've stayed at. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.
