Hardin KOA, Hardin, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

The park was dumpy and is not on par with other KOAs, and I was very surprised of the number of folks that rated this park as good. The front with the office looked sharp, but the RV sites in the rear area needs a lot of help. Though the sites were level and long, everything else was in disrepair. The picnic tables in need of painting were old and had about 50%-60% of the paint peeled off. The KOA-Yellow poles throughout the park needed painting too. The grass was not cut; in sections the weeds were about 12 inches high. The gravel area for our picnic table was about 50% weeds. Though the web states CATV was down for repair, the office told me too many customers complained so they just shut it off. The pool area did look good, but the kid's playground next to it needs clean-up. Evidently debris from the adjacent construction flew into the playground. I understand the park is being sold and it appears the current owners are putting as little as possible into it. Even the few premium sites needed some TLC. A little paint and some mowing/edging would make a big difference. KOA National should come collect their famous yellow signs. We camped at Hardin KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Maple Grove RV Resort, Everett, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

This park isn't a Resort as they advertise. No picnic tables, no fire pit, no clubhouse, no pool, etc. The sites were very tight. The price we paid was far above what the park offers. We stayed there only because we had close friends nearby. Our 43ft 5th wheel was crammed fitting into a site that was barely long enough and our dually was squeezed in along side against the bushes. The RV next to me was only a couple of feet away. A number of sites even had orange cones because the rigs stuck out too far. I did notice numerous sites with Class As and Cs needed blocks for leveling. When we departed we had to navigate the tight corners very slowly making sure we didn't bump the curbs or other RVs. Cable TV was good, but the Wifi never worked. The park was very clean and well taken care of, but much too small. We would not stay here again. We camped at Maple Grove RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed the park. We stayed four nights. Sites are very long with lots of sewer hookups. Cable TV was OK: a bit snowy, but very usable. Each site even had cable TV lines available to run to your RV. Sites are open and have great satellite reception. Water and electric were fine too. In addition, the park was very clean. The staff was very good too. We communicated with the staff during the reservation stage and then again when I called to make a minor change. They were most helpful. We found them helpful and with a sense of humor. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
