Date of Stay:

Located at the exit from the bridge over the St Lawrence river from Prescott, Ontario. This used to be a 1000 Islands Park Commision site so the location and grounds are fantastic. The campground is well maintained. On weekends the place fills up and some sites are pretty close together. There are a lot of trailers parked here for the summer/year. Overflow area is across the road. Beach areas are swimmable. We have been here twice and like the location. Staff are nice, but the owner tends to be a bit grumpy.

Date of Stay:

A fairly nice trailer park with a separate campground section. There are only about 4 sites with full hookups and lots of sites with water and electric. The washroom is all tiled and looks fairly new and well looked after. A NEGATIVE is that showers cost $1.00. Campground is only a few minutes away from Midland's three main attractions of Wye March, Saint Marie and Martyr's shrine.

Date of Stay:

This is a trailer park with about 15 overnight sites. A few have hydro and water but no sewer hookup. Does not accept credit cards. Showers are coin operated. Sewage dump station does not have water/hose for cleaning sewer hose. Small sandy beach on Georgian Bay. Good fish restaurant 3 minutes away. Daily breakfast is available in rec. room

Would have rated this place much higher if not for the bathrooms and showers. Although they are tiled and in good condition, there seems to be no maintenance. All three toilets were without toilet paper for days. Showers never seem to be cleaned. The dumpster has been overflowing for days. With a bit of TLC this is/could be a nice campground.

Date of Stay:

The brochure is very deceptive! Claims to have a country store (didn't see one) claims vending machines (local campers told us that the owner does not stock it), claims 24 hour attendant (we never saw the owner or attendant), we self registered and paid. Sewer connection was difficult to find. For $29.00 this was way over priced!

Date of Stay:

Located right in the town. Also located right on the "P'tit Train du Nord" so if you are biking, this is an ideal spot. Most sites are shaded but they have an open area for trailers. English is not spoken here.

Date of Stay:

Located about 10 km from Kiamika. Had no electricity available. Dump station is on wrong side, on a hill and has a concrete cover twice the size of a manhole. Takes two people lift. This place is geared more to the fisherman and wheelers.

Date of Stay:

About 10 km from Val Barrette. Mostly permanent motor homes. Office does not speak any English.

Date of Stay:

Showers require coin and water not always hot. Showers very small and dark. Some very beautiful spots with a river fed large pond available for swimming. There is NO dump station. If you wish to dump you must pull into a site with sewers, dump there and pay a $5.00 fee. Owner speaks good English.

You can fall asleep to the chutes aux iroquois (waterfall in the campground). It is located right in the town of Labelle with the bike trail "p'tit train du Nord" just over the hill.

If you arrive before check in time, you will be charged a 1/2 days additional rate!!!!

Paved sites with lots of grass areas and trees separating sites. Pool was not open in May. One Internet cable available in the office. Access to the Horse park is a bonus. Very few signs or rules beginning with "Do Not/NO." We use this campground whenever we are in the area! Weekends can be difficult to get in when these is something going on at the horse park (most of the time!)

Family provincial park with hundreds of sites, mostly shaded but some open. Just 10 minutes from Coboconk. Great location on Balsam Lake. We enjoy biking at this park while others come for the fishing and/or the beach. Nice Park!

Date of Stay:

Park does not seem to be well maintained. The first electrical outlet we tried was rusty and did not work. Site are level, even though some of them are on a slope. The park is very convenient to the battleground and only a few kilometres from downtown Vicksburg

Date of Stay:

Great waterfront sites and a terrific white sand beach and water that you can actually swim in. Great park for biking since it is fairly flat. I think this is one of Mississippi's park gems.
