Fredericksburg / Washington DC South KOA, Fredericksburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Really nice CG. Like all KOA's they are overpriced. The owner was really nice in helping me get another reservation at a different KOA that was not answering there phone. The biggest complaint was the mosquitoes. Even this late in the season there were a lot. Could not enjoy sitting outside. Would not stay again because of that. We camped at Fredericksburg / Washington DC South KOA in a Motorhome.

Charlottesville KOA, Charlottesville, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Okay park, not worth $45. Roads are narrow. We had a pull thru but you have to make a sharp turn to get into it. They said at the office that I didn't need to unhook my toad. It was a good thing I didn't listen. WiFi was OK, cable TV didn't work. It is in a nice wooded area, no satellite, but was able to get local channels with an antenna. Verizon cell phone reception is awful. Make sure you follow the directions on the web site. If not the GPA will take you on a winding road. Would stay again but if possible, would try to stay at somewhere a little cheaper. We camped at Charlottesville KOA in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA, Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and quite CG. Typical KOA amenities. Only 20min to subway. Only complaint is that our site didn't drain. After a rain there was a 6 inch puddle outside where our steps were. Would stay again. We camped at Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA in a Motorhome.

Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC), College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

A park with this many amenities and price should have a higher rating. The park offers everything you could possibly want from a RV park. The reason for not a higher rating was 1) site not level. I could not level with just my levers had to use 4x4 's 2) levers sunk into the ground 3) Lots of fwy noise. Everything else was very good. Would stay again but would try to get a spot more towards the front to get away from Hwy noise. We camped at Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC) in a Motorhome.

Pine Valley Campground, Endicott, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely CG with a lake in the center. After a hectic labor day week it was nice to sit outside and relax in a nice quiet park with a lake. It had rained a lot so the site was pretty muddy. You need to pay for WiFi but is was barely usable. The bathrooms though clean were not very inviting and full of bugs, they definitely need an upgrade. Be sure to pay attention to the directions on the web site, there is a 12' bridge that you need to avoid. If in the area we would probability stay here again. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

Large RV park with all of the amenities. The main bathrooms next to the pool were the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen, which is pretty remarkable considering the number of children and adults that stay at the park. We were there over labor day weekend. The park was full with lots of activities for kids. Definitely a place to bring kids. I only had 2 complaints. 1) you need to pay for WiFi which was barely usable. 2) Highway noise is all day and most of the night. The sewer connection is very strange. Square metal cover over round sewer connection, there is no way to secure the hose to the connection. There is a shuttle to take you to the falls but you have to pay $7 per person. Staff at the front desk is manned by young people which had little knowledge of the area. Would not stay again because of road noise. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Campers Corner RV Campground (formerly London / 401 KOA), London, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A CG with this many amenities usually would get a much higher rating. But there are several things which bring the rating down.. 1) No WiFi - but staff said they are working on it 2) NOISE. The freeway noise is constant day and night and loud 3) Was going to use the shower but somebody made a mess. Wasn't cleaned till the next day. The shower stalls were old and rusty. 4) the vibe of the CG is wrong. It just doesn't feel inviting. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Would not stay again mainly because of noise. Trees provided usable shade without being in the way. Even though RVParkReviews says no FHU, the do have FHU but you have to ask. We camped at Campers Corner RV Campground (formerly London / 401 KOA) in a Motorhome.

Wayne County Fairgrounds & RV Park, Belleville, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Community let we down again, this is not a 7. Large open grass area with sites. Bathrooms are old. Water tastes terrible. Voltage below 120 on surge protector. Must too expensive for what it is. OK for a 1 or 2 night stay. We camped at Wayne County Fairgrounds & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Haas Lake Park RV Campground, New Hudson, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with lots of lakes. Park is full of almost full-timers. Lots of planned activities. We had fun. Some 50amp sites are shaded but all taken by full-timers. The rest are in the open. Dirt road into park is bad and muddy as is the roads in the park. Our site was at the far end, so WiFi was non-existent. And we had to drive to the office or restroom. Over priced but, Would stay again if closer to WiFi. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Bluffton / Fort Wayne South KOA, Bluffton, Indiana

Overall Rating:

Stayed 3 nights. When we arrived office closed with a note. Had to wait 15-30 minutes before somebody arrived to check us in. They were very accommodating when we asked to change sites. Good for a short stay. WiFi was terrible. After it rains it gets very muddy. We camped at Bluffton / Fort Wayne South KOA in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park - Knightstown, Knightstown, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful family park. We had never stayed in a Yogi Bear Park. The road getting into the park is about 3/8 of a mile of rough dirt road. Staff is nice and friendly. But when I asked about filling my propane tank on my MH they didn't know how. Sewer pipe was broken under ground.. When I told them about the person that came to investigate said it's been that way for a week not my job to dig. The pull through sites are gravel. Which is one of my complaints. The size of the gravel was almost fist size. Making it hard to walk and drive on. They are set up as buddy sights. There is a lot of road noise especially at night, which is why we probability would not stay again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park - Knightstown in a Motorhome.

Nice park run by the city but not more then a 7. All sites are in the open. Spacing is very good. WiFi was barely adequate. Stayed here because there aren't many good CGs in St. Louis. There is bike an boat rental. Lots of biking and hiking trails. Large grass areas. Music on the weekends. Would stay here again. We camped at St. Peters' 370 Lakeside Park in a Motorhome.

Basswood Resort, Platte City, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

I really don't understand the complaints. We really liked this campground. It it geared towards families so expect lots of kids. We only have two complaints. Our site was a little narrow and after it rained became really muddy. The second is airplane noise. I would say there is not a lot of airplane noise just enough to annoy because they fly at all hours. When we were there they hosted a pot luck. It was our anniversary when we arrived and the lady gave us a free pizza. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Basswood Resort in a Motorhome.
