Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for one night with our 45 foot Class A. Sites are close together, but it did the job for one night. The man who I talked to on the phone was pretty curt and to the point. I realized it even further when I checked in and he snapped at the customer in front of me who asked him a question. The park is close to the Blue Hole. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Royal Coachman RV Resort, Nokomis, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two nights - back in site on the middle loop. Fast and friendly check-in. In middle loop. Had to bring our 45ft coach around the opposite way to be able to back in our site due to two large trees in front of our site. Luckily, it was raining and beginning of off season. FHU and easy to get around the campground. Easy to get on and off I-75. We camped at Royal Coachman RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Publix. Highly recommend heading out to south end of Casey Key to see a beautiful sunset with minimal crowds. Great Italian options located nearby in Venice. Highly recommend Angelo's Italian Market. Homemade pasta and excellent wine selections. Fins is another delicious restaurant you want to try at sunset. Make early reservations and request a table on the deck.

North Pole Resorts, Wilmington, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Booked here for the week to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. The resort is Christmas Chic, but the decor is slightly aging. Sites were large with decent sized sitting areas and firepits behind the back-in sites. Road are easy to move around in. Fit our 45ft Class A with no problem. Good verizon and ATT signal. Great location to Whiteface Mountain. We camped at North Pole Resorts in a Motorhome.

AA Royal Motel & Campground, North Tonawanda, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

The area of Niagara is full of over overpriced accommodations, with the area as a whole being very touristy and impoverished in many areas. AA Royal is perfect for short transit stays. About the best price, and 15 mins to Niagara Falls state park. Plenty of dining options around, and 10 mins to Wegmans Grocery. No permanent units, all paved, and very level. Sites are close, but this is not a resort. Front desk agent was nice and knows how to deal with RV'ers We stayed for 5 nights, and the norm here seems to be 3-4 nights. Plenty of room, we pulled the toad right to our site, and our 45' rig fit in the back-in perfectly (car had to park along side). Solid Wifi, but capped at 1 mb/s. Good VZW, ATT, Tmob service with plenty of speed. Our only issue was the 50A power often didn't hold voltage, and the pedestal needed replacing. We were blowing their fuse when we were rarely over 35A on each leg. Would definitely return for the price, ease, and location. We camped at AA Royal Motel & Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground, Bath, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground that has a lot of activities for kids. Everything from crafts, to barrel train rides with Yogi, and much more. They have built a nice kids area that has a water bounce house and bounce pillow. We stayed for 4 nights on our way up through upstate NY. We were given a Lakefront site and it was level with solid power and space. Honey Wagon service was free and prompt when you called. There is a rickety bridge to the Lakeside, but we are 44k lbs and rolled over it pretty solid. Lots of permanent units that are well kept, and some serious golf cart traffic on the weekends. Wifi worked well, except for when the crowds crushed it on the weekends. Only issue was front-office service, the girl was clueless and didn't follow through. There is little to no cell service here. We have VZW, AT&T, TMob, and Sprint - all of them struggled to get anything. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Motorhome.

The Colonies RV & Travel Park, Fort Monroe, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The location of this RV is perfect! That is the reason that I would rate this RV park so high. Sadly, the grounds are just merely satisfactory/poor. The grass was very high, many sites are in wet areas that sometimes flood (they have sump pumps in several locations around the park), the Water/Electric area did not have any site markings to know where to park. However, I would absolutely stay here again because the area around The Colonies and the location is wonderful. We camped at The Colonies RV & Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Oozlefinch Brewery is located right on the Fort grounds. Music, food trucks, and brewery with plenty of space to play. The Fort itself was wonderful to walk around and explore. Scratch Bakery is a delicious little find with bakery goods, breakfast treats, and even a few lunch offerings.

Our children loved to look at all the animal sculptures. We went to the Steakhouse and it was meh. Dining options are limited so either plan on having a meal in the RV or good luck. The travel store offered plenty of selections of snacks and drinks.

Tropical Palms Resort, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times over the Winter 2018 season. Excellent staff who try to go above and beyond to make you happy. The roads are slightly tight, but we were able to handle our 45ft class A with ease. Pool was super busy during the day, but around 5pm it was quiet. Offered plenty of activities for children and adults including Candy Bar bingo, night movies, bingo, crafts. Close to Downtown Disney and felt very safe walking to Old Town. Will be going back this Winter 2019 season for a few weeks. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Amazing vintage car show every Friday and Saturday night in Old Town. Publix is easy drive away. Plenty of dining options on Irlo Bronson Highway. Highly recommend King o Falafel right down the road for excellent Greek/Mediterranean food. Approximate 15-20 minute drive to Universal Studios. 5-10 minutes drive to Downtown Disney.

We stayed here two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Sites are close together, but you expect that in Las Vegas. Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on Coast to Coast discount. Received a lovely spot on the side of the Oceanside Campground. Indoor and outdoor pools were clean and lovely. Easy walk to the beach. Nice playground for the children. We were here during off-season so maybe 1/3 of park was full. I am sure when the park is full, the sites may seem close together. We were lucky to be there when we did not have many units to the left or right of us. We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Apple Island Resort, South Hero, Vermont

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 11 nights on a Lakeview Water/Electric Only site. The site was large and plenty of room for my three children to move and explore. Site was a pull-through and large fire ring was provided. We only had water and electric, but dump site was close enough that it was not an issue. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the main campground area. Pool was extremely clean. Laundry area was clean and was reasonably priced. This resort is located on Lake Champlain, close to the Bike trail/Bike Ferry, close to the farmers market, and easy access to get to Burlington. My husband and daughter played 18 holes of golf at their on-site golf course. Well-maintained course. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to our fulltime family of 5. We camped at Apple Island Resort in a Motorhome.
