Red Ridge Lake Campground, Zion Grove, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

After driving narrow winding roads to get here, we're quite disappointed in what we found. This park has a lot of people living in it and there's so many seasonals park. Just by looking across the park we didn't see any other available spaces. There looks to be 75-100 spaces. So we ended up with one of three barely graveled spaces by the front entrance. The park just looks trashy, didn't use the showers or restrooms since we have our own. The "lake" is more of a pond. It is quiet if that's any resolution. The office person was nice enough. We camped at Red Ridge Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

RV Village Camping Resort, Mercer, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Has the feel of a mobile home park. There are a lot of permanent RVs setup and year round residents here. The roads are narrow throughout the park and were muddy during our 2 night stay here. There lots of pine trees & tree stumps on the RV sites. The park has 5-6 pull-through full hookup sites for overnight guests. The sites are lightly graveled & short. Our 35 ft fit the site but we had to disconnect & angle our truck so it wasn't out in the road. About as far from being a resort as you can get. We won't stay here again. We camped at RV Village Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Smith's Pleasant Valley Campground, Loudonville, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Found this park was decent for a couple of nights. It was rainy while we were there and we found that the roads leading to the sites turned to mud slicks. Gravel is definitely needed! There are some seasonal RVs scattered about but there's plenty of spaces for guests. The site was gravel with a concrete patio. Our site backed up to the beautiful Mohican river. The owners were super nice & very helpful. We camped at Smith's Pleasant Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
