Tiki Tom's RV Park, Tiki Island, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park! Right on the island. Super close to Galveston Island just over the bridge. Nice fishing spot right from their dock. Very nice people that run the park. We stayed there for 7 month last year. We paid $400 a month plus electric. Washers and dryers are FREE!!! We camped at Tiki Tom's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

59 Trading Place RV Park, Cleveland, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent park in a country setting. It is just north of the busy city of Houston and close to everything. Easy on and of HWY 59. We are full timers and have been her for over 6 months. Nice quiet atmosphere. Only gave it an 8 out of 10 because there are no showers and no concrete pads. Great pond stocked with bass!!! The monthly rate is $400 and that includes everything. No other charges. We camped at 59 Trading Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Now that the Grand Parkway is open you can run over to the Woodlands in 20 minutes. From the park to downtown in only 30 minutes. From the park to Galveston Island and the beach its only 1 hr. Very nice country setting.

Northlake RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the best kept secrets in Texas. We loved this park. We stayed here multiple times over the past two years. Between 4 and 8 months at a time. The rate we paid was $450 plus electric for a pull through spot neat the gate that leads to the Potato Patch restaurant. Really nice dog run. The lake, pool, hot tub, gym, BBQ area all are clean and nice. They sell propane right on site. You can even rent golf carts!! We camped at Northlake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
