Kartchner Caverns State Park, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice. clean, and well run park with an attraction of the caverns. Expensive for a so-so tour, but again, clean and interesting. The welcome center has excellent displays of cavern history and facts. Not near much else, but quiet and peaceful. We camped at Kartchner Caverns State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Silver City RV Resort, Minden, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park with helpful and courteous staff. There is a charge for dogs, $1.00 per day per dog, but the dog parks are very small with poor surfaces.. The wifi is totally unsatisfactory for a large professionally run park, and management is aware of this, but the owner perhaps not! The TV hook up requires a special box, cables, and plug due to Charter cable company. Works fine once hooked up and a $75 refundable deposit.

Overall a quality park despite the annoyances. We'd stay there again. We camped at Silver City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Totonaka RV Park, San Carlos, Sonora

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We had none of the problems mention by the previous review. Pool was great, dogs enjoyed the park, no water pressure issues, sewer was fine, though WiFi a little weak at times. Owner and manager very friendly and helpful. Perhaps after most "snowbirds" have left, services are better. Park was about 1/2 full, and the time and weather ideal. Noise from the nightclub across the street was Mexican music...get used to it on a Friday night! We camped at Totonaka RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
