Gooney Creek, Front Royal, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Warning: Read all reviews. I will add to what was not stated. First a very narrow rough dirt road entrance in a bad spot in the highway. The 82 year old owner was rude and greedy. Wanted extra $3.00 For the towed. Once she found out our holding tanks were near full she refused to let us use her dump station. Said she had just had her septic pumped and didn't want it filled up again. Not to mention a strong odor of alcohol as we conversed. She did agree to give us a refund. We would not recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Gooney Creek in a Motorhome.

Park only has 5 or 6 spots of which only 2 have sewer hookups and only 1 to my knowledge had 50 amp electric. All asphalt like parking lot. We found it adequate for an overnight stay,. We camped at Calais Motor Inn in a Motorhome.

Pinto Lake Park, Watsonville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We are Full timers. Have never been to a park with such strict rules. Managers very flakey. If you are a smoker do not come here. You cannot smoke outside of your rig. You cannot drink any alcohol outside your coach. Manager inspects each site for violations. So far we have seen him call the cops on someone once in two days. They admonished our neighbor because his awning was to close to his neighbor. We have never seen anything like this. It is certain we will never return here but will be sending a letter to the City of Watsonville. We camped at Pinto Lake Park in a Motorhome.

Arbor Terrace RV Resort, Bradenton, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Appears a nice park, but contains a lot of permanent residents of low caliber which party late at night. Lost 50 amp power for 2 days and nights. Poor electrical equipment. They refused to move us to another 50 amp spot. They take no control over residents. One permanent tenant flashed a young woman, and he is still here. I would not advise this park at all. We camped at Arbor Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.
