Super clean, friendly accommodating staff. Good security patrols, including security cameras. Sites were well kept. Full hookups were all brand new. River was pristine. Tips for other Campers:

The little town of Roscoe had great restaurants, a grocery store, outdoor gear shops and even a distillery tour. Sunday was a small but adequate Farmers market.

Bowdish lake Campground, Chepachet, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived and first had to pay extra for our 2 dogs. A lab, and a 15 lb rescue. We were then told no motorcycles allowed in the park! Its our only transportation! We are quiet grandparents, and had to park the bike near the park office with other bikes. The walk to our bike from our site was 1/2 mile. We were sent to a site, but it was occupied. When I called the office, they sent Us to another, that was occupied! They then proceeded to send us into an area that was too tight for our 37' motorhome. We backed into a rock trying to get out. We finally picked a site that was huge, and private. The lake was beautiful, the campground quiet. The lady that owns the place shouldn't be in the business of working with people. I asked for a golf cart ride to our site, as I have a lung disease. She told me flat out NO! The girls answering the phone at the desk admitted they don't know what size campers fit into the sites. Huge beautiful park. We camped at Bowdish lake Campground in a Motorhome.
