Tugaloo State Park, Lavonia, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice quiet place to stay! Especially if you opt for an off-water site. You can reserve a site but not a specific one. It's first come first serve which is nice. Camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. Lot spacing was spacious with some shade. Site surfaces are gravel, featuring a fire ring and picnic table. This was our second stay and we enjoyed it. We camped at Tugaloo State Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Hartwell Camping & Cabins, Townville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This place is the pits, owners are very cheap. Bath house completely nasty with no water pressure, serious sewage issues. The permanent residents are drunk degenerates that would be better suited for a trailer park. Our firewood was stolen. Our tow vehicle was broken into and ransacked. I believe the residents prey on the people staying 1 night! But if you like to drink and party all night, this could be the place! Peace and quiet? You are better off boondocking at a truck stop. The showers and bath rooms would be cleaner and less theft! We camped at Lake Hartwell Camping & Cabins in a Motorhome.
