Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines), Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in very low ground. When it rains the water stands for a couple of days. The area around the park has standing water all the time it must be bad when the mosquitoes are out. Interstate 10 and the entrance ramp is next to the campground which is loud all night. Sites are close together but adequate. There's a nice dog park/run available. Staff is friendly and helpful. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground. Paved roads and sites with large grassy areas. Very quiet country setting. Small town, 18 miles to nearest city. Stayed one month and would definitely consider staying 4 months in the winter. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bay Aire RV Park, Palm Harbor, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park is next to a very busy and loud road (ALT 19). The sites are sandy and not very wide. The next RV can be touched while touching your awning. Mostly long stay (6 months or longer) with lots of old small mobile homes. Staff is very friendly. Will not stay here again. We camped at Bay Aire RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Park has nice paved roads with large cement pads and a nice grassy area between sites. The grass and fences are not maintained very well (lots of fire ants)and the park is located next to a Flea Market. Lots of airplane noise since the park is located in the flight path of the Jacksonville International Airport. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.

New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Country setting with super large grassy sites that were level. The park is located next to the interstate but the trees helped to deflect the noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The town was small but had most everything we needed. Nearest large town was 35 to 40 miles away. We will stay here again. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.
