Skyline Wilderness Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We planned on staying two nights here because of the great wine country location, but the stark, gravel parking lot sites made us want to move on. The staff member we met, however, was very friendly and refunded us one night. The bathrooms were reasonable and the park is very quiet. It is adjacent to a large public park with lots of walking trails and a frisbee golf course. We camped at Skyline Wilderness Park in a Travel Trailer.

Marina Dunes RV Park, Marina, California

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very attractive and within walking distance of a very secluded beach. Each site has a patio, barbecue, fireplace, picnic table and trees. The bathrooms were well appointed and clean. Of the four staff members we met, three were exceedingly friendly and accommodating. The downsides are significant road noise and high price. At that nightly rate, the wifi, pool table and firewood should be gratis. We camped at Marina Dunes RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven), Yreka, California

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park is reasonable as an overnight stop. The sites, gravel with a tree and small picnic table, were pretty tight and there was quite a bit of road noise. The bathrooms were nice with spacious dressing areas. We only encountered one staff person and she was exceptionally friendly and accommodating! We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Travel Trailer.
