Date of Stay:

We stayed here for the 5th time for a week while supporting son racing the Tour of the Gila. Great, convenient location; close to Gough Park, the Food Basket, and downtown eateries. Good shade by cottonwood trees, though higher winds get smaller branches flying about. Sites are gravel. Could have another toilet (only one); 2 showers, 2 sinks, 1 urinal. Half of the sites are permanents; couple of tent sites with green grass.

It has been 5 years since we last visited this terrific soaking spot along the Rio Grande. Much improved as the owner continues to add amenities to the site. The RV park is directly across the road with convenient access to brand-new bathrooms for men, women, family. The owner is preparing for the Hot Springs Festival this coming weekend; three newly added soaking pools, including a larger one that's ADA compliant for wheelchairs access, plus a sauna. All the designs are southwestern and quite beautiful. A resident artist is adding paintings and murals that fit nicely in the setting. Other artwork and fountains add value. And the ambiance is peaceful, with a 'whisper-only' zone around the pools, while the evening lighting is subdued. Fast WiFi at the site, too. What's not to like?!
