Lavaland RV Park, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills park. Could use some site updating. Neither the cable or wi-fi worked in any sites near us. All gravel, site #16 was level with a little shade. Quiet even near I40. Easy in and out. Near the town of Grants that has a Walmart. There is a young gentleman answering phones, registration and general clean up. You can tell he is a little new to the job but he is doing great! Very pleasant to talk to and find out things to see and do in area. He is a "10"....thanks! We camped at Lavaland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Se the El Malpais National Monument, even if you don't hike, it's a nice ride to see beautiful sandstone rock mountains. Drive up Mt. Taylor.

Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South , Coarsegold, California

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

When you pull into this park and see the registration office and pool, you think....WOW...This is beautiful! But, over the hill to your site, and you realize all money was spent there and no where else! I would stay here again, but it seems like just an old KOA park type quality. We had site 18 - never got level - careful you don't fall off the ledge getting in & out of your RV! Barely room for car. It was very quiet. If we came again, I'd ask for a pull through or back in site numbers 6-11. Some sites have a very nice wooden deck. Large park but run down and needs some fix up at sites including a lot more gravel and leveling. For the cost, it's not up to par. Fire ring and picnic table were horrible. We camped at Yosemite RV Resort, RVC Outdoor Destination (formerly Yosemite South in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Location was great to go to Yosemite. It takes an hour. Also nice car ride on CA200, to CA225, then CA FOREST RD 81 & FRONT 7 (dirt, but ok in car). Also take CA 120 up Yosemite mountain to Tioga Pass. Both rides are absolutely amazing!

Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA, Visalia, California

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This park has a few negative reviews, but we found no problems staying here 5 nights. Very little noise except occasionally a distant sounding train horn. Yes you hear a little train rumble, but just barely. No chicken noise. Some occasional local traffic noise, and a party one night till 11pm. Otherwise very quiet. Typical gravel pull through, mostly level on site C13. Laundry card a little odd, but no issue to use. We camped at Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

Noccalula Falls Campground, Gadsden, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Love this park! We had a muddy spot after rain, but otherwise it is a great place to come. I could spend weeks here. Noccalula Falls is a great place to see nature and hike. Lots of Alabama campers come here and a very friendly. Good gravel roads, we were on a long concrete pad, easy hookup including elec, water, sewer. Some of the sites were gravel, but in good shape. Want to return! We camped at Noccalula Falls Campground in a Motorhome.

EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Concrete roads with nice level, wide concrete pads. No problem with convenient hook ups of electric, water, and sewer. Clean newer bath/showers and laundry. Quiet area with a few live ins. Camping sites on both sides of road. A very nice well maintained RV park. Seems like they are trying for a resort feel. Would definitely stay again. We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

It looks like you are going down the wrong street when you turn off the main road, but once there it's a really nice park. The only drawback is that it is very noisy from trains going by, to jet airplanes overhead, to cars on expressway. It got quieter at bedtime. Very level, very large concrete pads. Convenient to St Louis, shopping, restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country Gardens RV Park, Odessa, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

What a great little park. The road noise is not too bad because the site is behind a building. The concrete pads are level. The owner is extremely nice. The cleanest shower & bath I think I've ever seen and a nice laundry. Country store in front with 200 plus cheeses, Amish foods, snacks, etc. Excellent hook up "house" by each site. I would definitely stay again. Class A, 35', towing a car. We camped at Country Gardens RV Park in a Motorhome.
