Shamrock Park, Berrien Springs, Michigan

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground right on the Saint Josephs river complete with a boat ramp, fish cleaning station and on site storage. Park is open all year and they allow long term stays but all the sites in the park are very clean and well kept including long term. Fire pits, level gravel pads with plenty of parking, good spacing between sites, 50, 30, 20 amp, some pull thrus, fhu's, water & electric, primitive and tent sites. A little gem of a city owned park with great staff and easy check ins. Will definately stay here again whenever we're back this way. We camped at Shamrock Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mobile City RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Camped overnight on our way back to Niagara. Stayed here because of the closeness to restaurants, next time we'll drive the extra miles.

Really run down, dirty place. No curtains in the shower windows. Place hasn't been properly cleaned in a long, long, long time.

Permanent residents allowed to pile junk on their sites, everything you think of when you hear trailer trash. Just a couple of rules would go a long ways to improve this park. Unless you're a sadist avoid this park. Stay at the Pilot (Travel Station) down the street. We camped at Mobile City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pioneer Village Campground, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice sized pull thrus, level side to side, includes cable tv, decent wifi. Really nice looking campsite with a creek running across the back. Only negative is highway noise but that quiets down at night, never stopped us from sleeping. Nice camp hosts, will lend you cable for tv if you don't have one.

Nicely located for side trips sight seeing and shopping for necessities. We camped at Pioneer Village Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

King Neptune Campground, Indian Harbour, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, location, location, location...all sites with ocean view, many right on the water. Most accomodating, friendly, helpful owners I've met in a long time. If you are going glamping this is not the place for you, but if you want to be central to a lot of attractions, have the best view of St.Margarets Bay and a park with a lot of character this is for you. We camped at King Neptune Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
