We spent four months at Berry Springs RV Park this past winter. We live fulltime in our motorhome and have a daughter who lives in Austin. This park is convenient not only to Austin, but to shopping in the Georgetown and Round Rock area. The sites are rather level, gravel, with decent spacing between sites. The roads in the campground are paved. The laundry room has 3 household washers and dryers and are free. The only problem is that they need more of each for the number of people in the park. The best park of this campground are the hosts. They are the greatest! Very friendly, helpful, and dedicated to running the park the way it should be run. We always felt safe there and the hosts were always available if a problem arose. They were pleasant and fun to talk to. We will miss them.

TAn ugly park with sites too close together. the bathrooms are old looking. The laundry room is inadequate for the size of the park and lacks sufficient ventilation. \Park rules are not enforced. We had loud music from a neighbor still going strong at 12:00AM. There were dogs not on leashes. Only a few sites had picnic tables. The free wifi was not usable from the site we were in. We would not stay here again.

The best RV park in Port O'Connor. This new park has long, level, gravel pads and grass between the sites. There is generous spacing between the sites and flowers and trees around the park. The tile bathrooms are luxurious. The club room, at this time, is a work in progress. When finished it will have a full kitchen, a television, and it will be a great place to congregate. Installation of a pool and hot tub will begin soon. The laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers and you can sit on the covered porch and relax while waiting for your laundry. We were looking for a peaceful place to ride our bicycles, go kayaking, and bird watching. Port O'Connor was the perfect place and the Port O'Connor RV Park was the perfect place to stay. If you are into fishing this area, located on the intercoastal waterway and Lavaca Bay, is very popular. The owners are the greatest. They are friendly, gracious and helpful. They are determined to have a great RV park and provide RV'ers with a great place to stay. We stayed 7 weeks and plan to return as soon as possible.

It is located in the middle of a quaint, friendly little town nestled in a notch in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy all the area has to offer. The New River and the New River Trail (biking and hiking) are just a short walk away from the park. There is an old time country music jam session on Thursday evening on the main street in Fries, and a concert at the campground on Saturday evening. The sites are level with full hookups and a good distance apart. There is a water wheel and a small stream running through the campground. The greeting room/office, or the porch are both good places to relax in a rocking chair. The bathrooms and showers are large, immaculate and beautifully decorated. The owners are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They provide delicious homemade muffins on your arrival. We have stayed here twice and hope to return often.

A work in progress but a great campground already. The sites are long, level, with full hookups and not too close together. The location is convenient to I-77, I-74, US 601, and 52, on the edge of Mount Airy (Mayberry), and not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Winston-Salem, and the local Vineyards. All in all a great location. You are treated like one of the family by the owners and the office staff. They are so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were there for a month and will stay there again when we are in the area. We highly recommend this campground.

We spent three nights at this park while traveling to the NC coast. The sites are quite large, very wooded, and rather private. The campground was busy during our stay but was still quiet. The bath houses were old and only two showers but they were always clean. The only thing lacking at this campground is sewer hookups. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

We stayed at this campground for a month while getting the motorhome organized in preparation for going on the road fulltime. The owner is very nice and very helpful. The campground is well maintained and the bathrooms and showers were always clean. There is a miniature golf course, a swimming pool, playground equipment, and a game room. They also have a hiking trail from the campground to the Yadkin River for you exercise buffs. We will stay at this campground whenever we are in this area.
