We've been camping here for 8 years. The campgrounds is approximately 8.5 miles off of Exit 18, New York State Thruway. It has excellent amenities to include: 2 pools, one of which is heated, game room, Yogi Bear Tiki Snack Shack, recreation hall, laundry-mat, 2 playgrounds, mini-golf, basketball, shuffleboard, baseball, horseshoes, volleyball and a well stocked campgrounds store. The restrooms/showers are very well kept and extremely clean! Free WIFI is also available. The campground has 200+ sites which include pull thru and back-in sites as well as tent sites and cabin rentals. Sites have either 30 amp or 50 amp service. You need to book in advance in the summer as it tends to book up. It is family owned and very family oriented. Daily activities during the summer months and themed weekends April thru October. This campgrounds is a sure bet and I would highly recommend it to anyone! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

Go to the site to check rates according to how you are staying. It all depends on what kind of site you want. Also you HAVE TO book in advance. We did a year in advance since it was prime travel season. We've been here twice and would go back again. Very clean, well maintained. Nice activities for the kids: 2 pools, great stores, nice restaurant and awesome outside pancake breakfasts for $2.00. It's very close to Mt. Rushmore: with shuttles running there and to Crazy Horse. They also have horseback riding here which is always a must. The kids playgrounds are very nice too. Would highly recommend. We camped at Mount Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch in a Motorhome.

Great campgrounds on the ocean. It has a little bit of everything so there's no need to leave although there's a lot of great site seeing to do. The campground has over 800 sites, 4 pool areas (1 inside pool, 1 wading pool, 1 kid splash area, 1 large pool). The new laundrymat is great because it's so big and we've never had a problem getting our laundry done. We've rented golf carts there during the spring when our sites are further away for the main hub area since rates are cheaper then as it's not peak season yet. There's a big store with gift area (clothes, shoes, souveniors, jewelry, candy) which always stocked. Great kids activities, nightly activies (music, games), nice observation deck facing ocean. It's got a few snack areas and a large game room. We've camped there during April which we prefer because it's not overloaded with kids and the rates are cheaper. Weather has been nice then too. Summers are pretty crowded and it's hot but never a bad experience at this campground. Also, there's lots of stores close by: supermarkets, restaurants, and a Super Wal-Mart. It's a sure bet and we highly recommend. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.
