Lucky Loggers RV Park, Coos Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Good if only place available. Probably good for fishermen or full timers but we are neither. Girl in office very nice and we got last spot available. Lots of lotta timers here and fishermen. Showers need a good cleaning but we're large. Clubhouse has funny smell. Would only stay here again if nothing else available. We camped at Lucky Loggers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fossil Valley RV Park, Vernal, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with wonderful trees when hot. Good location for taking in the sites.. Did have an incident with a dog loose in park. Owner did call the police immediately and dog was removed. Did think owner could have come and asked me if I was ok. The son next day did ask me when I went to office and was very nice and concerned My husband did talk to him but it was me that fell with dog coming at me. Lucky I was not bitten . But that probably would not happen again and we would go back to park again. We camped at Fossil Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ashland City RV Park (Kreher Park), Ashland, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Was so glad we spotted this little city park as the hiway east was washed out and Walmart would not let you stay there even with major washout east on hiway 2 after major flooding. Beautiful spot. No office. Self check-in but does have a host camper to give you code to restrooms. We camped at Ashland City RV Park (Kreher Park) in a Motorhome.

Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park), Garberville, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Not worth the price but park full so guess price not a problem and not much competition. Park now KOA. Park very tight. Sprinklers not adjusted so water ALL over vehicles. Others complained about this also. First impression into park very nice.

Office help nice but know nothing about history of golf course which we understand is of interest to golfers

Won't stop here again. We camped at Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Ivy's Cove RV Retreat, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here before and love this little park. Do need to check ahead as it is small and not that many sites, but it is easy access and the owner is always around doing something, just might not be in office. Does seem to keep full as it is very nice and shows pride of ownership. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Stayed here before. Great location and easy in and out. The only thing we were disappointed in is that on Sundays they don't have pizza. It was great last year when we stayed there. Will stay here again. We camped at Amarillo Best Wonderland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Oak Grove RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We were very pleased with our stay here. We do have a smaller motorhome and so it was easy to stay here. It is a bit tight for some of the very large motorhomes, but some spots are very doable. The location is perfect and the price was great. Will stay here again. Only gave it an 8 as it is definitely an older park and older restrooms and no club house, but overall very satisfied and loved the fact it was all paved including the site, especially on rainy days. We camped at Oak Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park many time for many years. Was disappointed that it is now a KOA. Still it is one of the best parks in the area and a very good park at that. We always loved the food and atmosphere at the restaurant when it was Beaudry's and then when it was Lazy Days. Had a wonderful Christmas brunch a couple years ago. Altho park still great the restrooms could use a good scrubbing and the food was definitely not what is used to be altho it was ok. The waitress was great and so were the people at the front desk. Actually even better than before. The park itself was still great. Just disappointed in the meal at night, so didn't try the breakfast. And noticed the restrooms and showers altho ok, could really use a good scrub. And will still go there in the future. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Pechanga RV Resort & Casino, Temecula, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park many times. Have loved it. Restrooms and laundry great and clean. Office help very nice and check-in easy. But this is the first time we have noticed that the resort does not seem to have a manager that has noticed that rules are not being abided by. Rule states no generators and we had a fifth wheel next to us with its generator on all night. Only stayed two nights. Not nice as we couldn't sit out..Two other generators were being used in the park. A large dog barked loudly off and on all night and day. And was left out all night attached to a tree. Nothing was done about it and it could be heard all over park. Complaints were ignored. Rule says nothing attached to trees. This same dog has been tied to a tree day and night all the time we have been here. Even dug out dirt to next pad one day. Another rule broken is the use of bikes after dark and both children and adults were out at least an hour after dark each night and that is dangerous as the speed limit is not abided by. The speeders are not paying any attention to the speed limit. Before someone gets hurt some of these rules that are dangerous should be looked into. Also rules state no electric bikes in park and one of those has been ridden around the park quite a bit. Sure we will come back and do hope these comments are looked at and improved upon. Otherwise a great park... We camped at Pechanga RV Resort & Casino in a Motorhome.

Olive Street RV Resort, Vista, California

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great bad and ugly. Restrooms, pool, clubhouse location excellent Managers very nice although a bit overwhelmed and not experienced RV's, but doing as good a job as possible. Price great especially if using Passport America. Even without Passport America for this close to beach it is a good price Bad is the sites are not level and In fact very steep for large RV's. We are short, so not as big a problem, but still need blocks to bring up front. The park does have blocks to get front ends up to level. Nice long cement pads, but no patio, so you have to step out into flowers that have gone to weeds...And, so can easily trip over the ugly Which leads me to ugly. I am sure in the spring when flowers in bloom it is very pretty, but after flowers dry it is very ugly and looks like bunch of weeds. Managers trying to do something about this, but so was the manager last year and it has not improved much..We were hoping to see improvement by now.. Many workers living here, but RV's can not be old, so that doesn't seem to be a problem.. Overall we will give it another try, as the price and facilities are great and hopefully landscape can be improved by another year. They blame the unlevel sites, cement patio restrictions and the ground cover on city requirements at time of setting up park, but not sure. We camped at Olive Street RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Now this is what we call a top rate RV resort that is open to the public without owning a lot. Love it and will always stay at this resort when in the area. We only stayed one night this time, but not our first time. Just had to leave before weather set in. Wish there were more like this. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very disappointed in this being called a resort. We have never stayed in a so called RESORT that the pad was sand...We don't go to beaches because we don't like sand. A very nice entrance and gal is office especially nice. Easy in and out. Pool looked great. Restaurant appeared more like a bar. Heard great reports about the restaurant, but I went over to get hamburgers to go. I asked for hamburger well done, but didn't expect burned. Couldn't eat it. BLACK on outside of patty. Others loved the restaurant, so maybe just a fluke. But didn't go back because of that. The music in the bar was very nice though. No really separate clubhouse. Nice big couch for relaxing, but it was in the office/store area. Not inviting to go sit and read and relax. The park on a whole was big and easy. But just too dusty for us and so we will not go back. Just didn't expect sand which is the main reason we will not go back. For a resort this didn't meet our expectations. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Little Creek Casino and Resort, Shelton, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Understand this is a fairly new RV park connected with the Casino...very clean and grass is beautiful. Grass is watered from a mat (?) under the grass so no sprinklers to come on and make a mess. Trees are growing and will be nice for shade in a few years. The swimming pool in casino is extra nice and area is wonderful. The price quoted is for mid week, but weekend, Saturday and Sunday are $49.00 which seems a bit steep especially for a casino park, but we will stay here again.. Especially nice and clean and easy access. We camped at Little Creek Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.
