Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our visit to this campground. The locations on the South side of town makes it an easy place to stay. Watch for the signs to direct you to the gate, sometimes the GPS takes you on a dirt road. As usual, the bathrooms were spotless, showers were clean with plenty of water pressure, the site was level, the art placed around the park was unique, the dog run was good, the staff is very friendly and this continues to be our favorite in the Santa Fe area. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fun Valley Campground, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

After 20+ summers at Fun Valley, I was disappointed in the way it looks now. The new owners must be overwhelmed by the amount of work that needed to be done before they bought the place. This year we spent 5 nights near the river. Although our site did now come with new 50-amp service. It also came with abnormally long, un-mowed grass & weeds, smelled of sewage, low water pressure and so much new gravel that I have to re-level each day. The rates have increased to near the market rate for the area, but the improvements are lacking. This year they placed a higher priority on getting laundry mat open than mowing the sites. Not everyone uses the laundry mat, but we all use the sites we paid. It will be a few more years before I go back to FV, if at all. I will read the reviews and see if the dreams of the new owners come true. The Good things about FV: Reservation system, snack shack when open, grocery store well stocked, friendlier staff and family friendly camping. We camped at Fun Valley in a Motorhome. Quiet Creek RV Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This fairly new RV Park is great while visiting Fredericksburg. We stayed during Spring Break so the park was almost full. The Pool looked very clean, although we did not use it during our stay. The bathrooms were always clean and spotless, internet was spotty, roads were good (speed limit is strictly enforced), room for kids to play, gated dog run, close to town and not noisy at all. The only problem (layout design) is the cement patio is right next to the neighbors sewer connect. We will return as we stayed 4 nights in a motor home. We camped at Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Grizzly RV Park is an great place and one of the nicest so far we have used. The staff is great, helpful and very friendly. The roads are wide, paved and easy to navigate. Easy in and out of all pull-through sites. A very well planned park with outstanding landscaping and maintenance. Grassy sites with small trees and shrubs everywhere. The price was reasonable for this very nice RV park. We will stay there again on the next trip. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Texhoma Park, Dumas, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2016
Overall Rating:

This is a good place to park overnight while passing through Dumas. It is much better than the Walmart parking lot and you must be aware that the train comes by every 40 minutes and blows the horn. It is an asphalt parking with barricade protected electrical risers. We will continue stay there on our annual trips to Colorado. We camped at Texhoma Park in a Motorhome.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a gravel covered park close to I-80, although we did not hear the traffic. This is a great place for a one night stay before going to Grand Tetons or Yellowstone. The staff is very nice and escorted us to the space. The overnight rained caused a little mud at our site, but that's the weather in May. The roads are easy to navigate. The utilities were located in the middle of the site and worked very well, but a stretch to reach when parked fully off the roads. It was very clean and had a place for the dogs that needed a little attention. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful National Park Campground. Very clean flush toilets, but no showers. Must bring your own soap and towels to wash hands. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. The roads are set up on loops so they are easy to navigate. The park host will provide information about the park upon arrival. Some areas do not allow generators (South Loops). Electricity is available in Loop D for 30+ sites on a first come basis and the other sites have generators hours between 8 AM to 10 PM on the north Loops. We will stay at Gros Ventre again. We camped at Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.
