Red Rock Ponds RV Resort, Holley, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived in the dark (9:00pm) and the office was closed, but we had let them know we were arriving late so they left a map with our site marked on it for us on the office door. Our site was very tight for us to get into given that we have a 45' motorcoach. The manager saw us and came over to help direct us into the site, which was appreciated. The sites are level, gravel, and with wide sections of grass between sites. It looked like many people here are seasonal campers and everyone was very friendly. They are expanding this campground. The manager told us that they are adding 45 new sites, and they're planning on many of those sites being larger to help accommodate larger rigs. There is a large pond that you can swim in or use a small boat on, which the campground has several available for use. We camped at Red Rock Ponds RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Outlanders River Camp, Luray, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

If you need a campground that is big rig accessible, we found this to be very easy to access both from how to get there and maneuvering around in the campground itself. We have a 45' and a tow. Sites looked level and are gravel with a fairly wide grassy area between sites. There is no Wifi nor cable. This campground offers a variety of sites including tent camping on slightly raised platforms. There is a river nearby that offers fishing, plus the campground has tubes for rent if you want to take a ride down the river. We camped at Outlanders River Camp in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We have a 45' and tow. This park has a large number of pull through sites that can accommodate big rigs. Most sites are level, gravel, with wide areas of grass between sites. The area close to the entrance does not have trees so if you want to use your satellite, this area would be best. If you prefer shade, there are many sites farther back in the campground that are shaded. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.

Gulf Coast RV Resort (formerly River Lodge RV Resort), Inglis, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We have a 45' motorhome with a tow and had no problem getting into our site. Granted it is a slow time of the year, and the park was pretty empty of people. The roads in the rv park are paved. The grass sites have a concert slab with a picnic table. There is a pool that was very clean and laundry facilities that were also clean. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort (formerly River Lodge RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

I-75 RV Park, Tifton, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Manager met us at the entrance and directed us to our site. He made sure we knew that if we needed anything, to be sure to call him as he was more than happy to help. This is a very small campground - only 14 sites. We have a 45' motorhome and a tow, and it took some careful driving to get us around corners into our site, but we managed. If you're in a shorter vehicle, you should have no problem. As mentioned in other reviews, this is next to I-75 so there is some traffic noise. On the plus side, it's very easy to get back on the highway again. We had 50 amp service, water, sewer, and cable. We camped at I-75 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

We have a 45' motorhome with tow and had no difficulties getting to our site and parked in our site with the tow still attached. Our site had a level paved pad with a concrete patio area that included a table and 4 chairs and a fire pit. We used the laundry facilities which we found to be reasonably priced ($2.00 for wash and for dry) and it was neat and clean. Pool looked clean as did the recreation room that had a pool table and a ping pong table. While a bit pricey, we would come here again as this is a well-run campground. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Pine Hill RV Park, Kutztown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites are level or close to level and are on gravel. All sites include water, electric, and sewer. Cable is also included for many sites.

This park is located between Route 78, a busy highway, and old Route 22 which also has some traffic. Depending on your site (we were in B2), your noise level may be more significant than ours as we were closer to the park's entrance near old Route 22.

Our site had plenty of room our 32 foot motorhome and our car. If you want a fire ring, you may need to ask for one. The campground delivered ours early the next morning (we arrived after dark). We camped at Pine Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boulder Woods Campground, Green Lane, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The road leading to the campground is narrow, but we were able to drive our 32' motorcoach to the campground with little problem. The campground is aptly named. Sites are wide with a gravel base and lots of boulders and trees. Sewer is not available for non-seasonal stays, but there are dump stations available and there is also a honey dipper service available for a fee. The campground offers different activities on the weekends and made announcements over a loud speaker about them occasionally, including when the quiet hours started at 11:00pm. It was noisy with children playing in the area we camped in (site 15).

One feature this campground offers is a deli that is open on Fridays from 4:00-9:00pm that offers dinner (this weekend was meatloaf - ask when making a reservation). This could be helpful when arriving in the early evening for a possible meal solution.

The owners are very helpful even with repairs, which we found out when one of our sliders stopped functioning. We appreciated Bill taking a look at it for us and helping us get it back in. We camped at Boulder Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

StoneyBrook RV REsort, Lehighton, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a quiet campground, this is an excellent choice. We hardly ever saw anyone let alone heard someone. The sites are spacious, level, and full hook-up. They are stone and gravel with a large strip of grass between sites. All had picnic benches and a fire ring.

There is a pool and a play area for kids, but we didn't see many kids here. This campground is on a hill so bicycling would probably be a challenge given the roads are also stone and gravel.

Many of the sites are seasonal, but everyone we met was very friendly. We camped at StoneyBrook RV REsort in a Motorhome.

Mill Bridge Village Camp Resort, Ronks, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small campground located right next to a farm. Sites are level with dirt/gravel pads. Our electric and water hookups were on the opposite side of our rv, but we were able to position it so that our 25 foot electric cord would reach. There is a creek that runs past one side of the campground and fishing is allowed. Staff is friendly and helpful. We camped at Mill Bridge Village Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Timberline Campground, Benzonia, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

If you use GPS to find this park and use it's address, please be aware that the first entrance to the park will not be the one the GPS will try to get you to. The address leads you to the parks second entrance which is behind a Shell gas station/mini mart. We missed both entrances because we weren't looking for the first one and couldn't figure out why the GPS wanted us to go to a gas station. We didn't see the little campground sign below the Shell gasoline prices until our second pass by.

The campground itself seems to be very well maintained with mostly level sites that are either gravel or sandy. Our site had a port-a-potty next to it, but it got checked and maintained at least 4 times a day and we never smelled it. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Motorhome.

Grand Forks Campground, Grand Forks, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Access to this campground is found just before the entrance to Flying J. The paved road turns into a gravel road and the campground entrance is found about 1/4 mile down the gravel road. Sites are gravel with some grass between you and your neighbor. While the sites are not close together, turning out of your site means keeping a careful eye on the trees and other people's vehicles as it is tight (we have a 32' motorhome). Our nightly rate included water, electric, and sewer. We camped at Grand Forks Campground in a Motorhome.

Medora Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is situated within a mile of the entrance to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We stopped for an overnight to get a site with sewer and water so we could shower and to take advantage of the campground's laundry facilities. For that purpose, this campground worked fine. Sites are gravel and level, have a picnic table and a stand-alone grill. We camped at Medora Campground in a Motorhome.

Riverview RV Park, Cut Bank, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is located about 30 miles from Glacier National Park and is on a small cliff. The sites are gravel, are fairly close together and were not very level. We needed to use our leveling blocks as well as our auto-leveling jacks to get us level.

The restroom and showers were clean (but not up-to-date), and the laundry facility had 2 washers and 2 dryers. No quarters needed for the laundry as you just pay the owner for how many loads you do.

It should be noted that as of this review, the owner was selling this campground so things could change in the future. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.
