Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We were in a 38 ft motor home in the 50 amp/cable sites area, and all the sites are very un-level. We had a very difficult time getting level, I asked for help from the RV park and they did send someone who helped, but we were surprised they would put large RV's in such un-level sites. Since they were full we were stuck, stay with wheels in the air or go to another park. If you have a big rig and you want 50 amp and cable this is not the place to go. They also did not give us any maps or cable channel info. We would not stay here again. We camped at Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in a Motorhome.

Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye), Luray, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park was very nice, clean, with level sites, and most sites had good views. It is convenient to the Caverns and markets and shopping. We did not use the restrooms or other facilities. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Luray KOA (formerly Luray RV Resort Country Waye) in a Motorhome.

Cosby Ranch , Cosby, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Woodall gives it a 2W's rating on facilities. That is correct. We used our Passport America membership, so for $14.00 per night we were ok. We did not use any facilities. There was uncut grass and it was unkempt and messy and cluttered with debris, but we were not expecting a lot. It was about 20 min to Gatlinburg and it was that long to a market, so come with full supplies. We camped at Cosby Ranch in a Motorhome.

Miles Motors RV Center & Campground, Hendersonville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Easy access to main road, but we did not really hear the road. Wonderfully easy to get gas/diesel fuel at the station next door! Lots of grass, some open spaces for satellite and some spaces with trees. Our Verizon PC card worded well here. We camped at Miles Motors RV Center & Campground in a Motorhome.
