Fort Tuthill Coconino County Park Campground, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this campground and how quiet it can be. There are only about 7 spaces with water + sewer hookups, and there is a dump station. We camped at Fort Tuthill Coconino County Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Playa de Oro Rv Resort, Puerto PeƱasco (Rocky Point), Sonora

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We were lucky to be able to reserve a beachfront space for the first time, as those spaces usually get taken quickly. Celebrated our anniversary with some friends we see there every year. Love the park, we go every year for Thanksgiving, and usually in the spring also. The beach is wonderful, and the staff and security always treat us like family. Best rv park in town without question. We camped at Playa de Oro Rv Resort in a Motorhome.

Kit Carson RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We travel from Phoenix to Flagstaff in the summer to escape the heat. Since 1998, we have camped mostly here in Flagstaff, and although the restrooms are dated and small, they are mostly clean and serviceable. We rarely stay longer than 2-3 nights, and we taxi into town for entertainment. We love the tall trees here, and have found no other RV park in Flagstaff with such nice shade. With the tall trees, pointing a satellite dish takes a few tries to get a clear spot and strong signal, but after about 30 minutes, DirecTV signal was dialed in at 94%. This is our favorite RV park in Flagstaff. We camped at Kit Carson RV Park in a Motorhome.

Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in Dec 2006, and had our Mom's in the main hotel. We paid a higher rate to have a "premium space", which we requested - next to a dog-friendly grass area. We have stayed here a handful of times since Castaways closed, and it's pretty good for being on the strip. It's a bit of a walk to the main casino, but not too bad. You'll need to take a taxi to pretty much any other casino from here, as it's location is pretty far up the strip. We plan to check other rv parks next trip to LV. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.
