Well maintained campsite, clean showers and restrooms, friendly receptionist, huge clean pool. Not crowded and quiet after Labor Day. Convenient for Ocean City. Only negative was mosquitoes. We camped at Whippoorwill Campground in a Motorhome.

Lancaster / New Holland KOA , New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this campsite in 2003 and were delighted with the condition of the campsite, the magnificent country views and the warmth and friendliness of the owners. Consequently we were dismayed and a little skeptical about the recent negative ratings and remarks about the new owners. We felt sure it must have been some sort of clash of personalities. Wow, were we wrong! We recently called in while we were in the area just to get a copy of their latest brochure and were greeted with an aggressive rudeness that was unbelievable, totally out of line and which got worse the more we tried to mediate. We assume that this person was the woman referred to in the previous comments and we can confirm that she clearly has some sort of major problem. Needless to say this campsite is off our list until we hear there are new new owners. We camped at Lancaster / New Holland KOA in a Motorhome.

Jekyll Island Campground, Jekyll Island, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Jekyll Island is a great laid back location for a campsite. Nice beaches great walking/bicycle paths all round the island. Unfortunately they've tried to squeeze in far too many sites in this campsite. If it weren't for the trees it would look like a parking lot. WiFi is free and there seems to be a good signal everywhere. For this area I think Blythe Island Regional Park offers a much better campground. We camped at Jekyll Island Campground in a Motorhome.

Blue Parrot RV Resort, Lady Lake, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old campground almost completely full of residential sites. We were assigned a space where a building had been removed between two other residential buildings. The site was unsuitable for a motor home - sewer was about 30ft uphill from where we could park etc. We were moved to the open field "parking lot" where overnighters/short term visitors are put. Spaces were so narrow, had there been someone in the next site we wouldn't have been able to put out our slide. There was a constant loud engine noise all night from a nearby fenced off area. We will not return. We camped at Blue Parrot RV Resort in a Motorhome.
