Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a week. We really like the location; lots of outdoor activities just east of the campground. You are in the city, so don't expect quiet. The park is clean and well maintained. The woman in the office that we encountered 3 times was unfriendly and borderline rude, but that was the only negative about our stay. Our back in site was roomy and partially shaded. We have a 33 foot fiver and had no issues maneuvering. Wi Fi was terrific and utilities worked well. Laundry room is well maintained with machines that don't rip you off. We would stay again. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park and absolutely the best place to stay in this area. Very quiet and very well maintained. WiFi slow at times but good Verizon reception. Lots of sidewalks for daily walks. Oregon Coast Aquarium & some shops & restaurants within easy walking distance. Beautiful historic bridge and gorgeous sunsets. All paved interior roads and grass and some shrubbery between the roomy sites. We hope to return for a longer stay soon. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort, Coos Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Such a great park! Truly ocean front! And we loved that there was not a long term camper or park model in sight. Friendly staff. Big rig friendly. Wi-Fi was excellent. Spendy, but a nice treat to stay right on the beach. We would return. We camped at Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Portside RV Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park has a TERRIFIC location. We had a peek a boo view of the ocean and it was nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops. But the park is too small for all the RV's and park models packed in there. Maneuverability was a challenge for our truck and 33 foot 5th wheel. The Wi-Fi was also poor. We would not return. We camped at Portside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Big rig friendly. Very clean with beautiful trees, grass, and landscaping. Roomy sites. Friendly accommodating staff. Nice pool and clubhouse that we used extensively to play games with our grandkids. Terrific fast Wi-Fi, even my 16 year old granddaughter said so! Costco nearby. We will stay here again when visiting our family. We camped at Bakersfield River Run RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven), Yreka, California

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent customer service! Friendly & helpful. Bag of freshly popped popcorn upon arrival was really appreciated after a long day on interstate 5. Easy in and out, no need to unhook our 33 foot 5th wheel for the night. Nice shade trees and a picnic table between each site with plenty of room for our chairs to sit and relax. We also didn't hear the freeway noise which surprised us. This is our 2nd time to stay here and we will return. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice older RV park. Very quiet. Lots of mature trees provided shade. Casino restaurant is decent and within easy walking distance. WiFi is terrible, but good by the RV office. Excellent Verizon signal. Very nice laundry room. Trash receptacle at each site was handy. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed this beautiful area. We had a river front site and it created a nice ambience. The entire park is just beautiful, but i would only stay here if I could get a riverfront site. All sites are very close together. Nice laundry. WiFi was very poor at our site, but good at the laundry room. We camped at Durango North / Riverside KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Buffalo Meadows RV Park (Fort Hall Casino Campground), Fort Hall, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights in mid September. We were in the B row so no problem getting in and out of our site as mentioned in other reviews. No cable but we got several OTA TV channels. WiFi was real iffy. Decent Verizon. Construction noise of new casino can be bothersome during the day, but even though you are close to the freeway, it was fairly quiet at night. Nice folks in the casino. Decent meal at the restaurant and it's a very short walk from the RV park. And for the price, ya can't go wrong. We would definitely stop here again. We camped at Buffalo Meadows RV Park (Fort Hall Casino Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

New owners working hard to fix up this park. The office, laundry, and bathrooms look great. The sites themselves are pretty run down but all the utilities worked just fine. Location is excellent...close to several small towns and Glacier NP. And the owners and workers couldn't be nicer or more helpful. WiFi was iffy, but that is true anywhere in this remote part of the country. The office provides a desktop computer for guests to use and the Internet worked pretty good when we used their desktop. We would stay here again. We wish the owners much success with their new business. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

I don't understand all the negativity in so many reviews for this park. Yes, it's expensive but so is everything on this side of the park. This KOA has beautiful panoramic views! And the folks who work here knock themselves out providing excellent service. We loved the coffee bar, ice cream shop, and pizza! The location is perfect for visiting Many Glacier where all the best hikes are. We had to shorten our stay due to the thick smoke, but intend to return next September. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Such a nice rv park. Clean, tidy, and well managed. Roomy, gravel sites with paved patios and roads. Nice laundry. Pretty good wifi too! Nice city park just across the road. Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV Resort! And it is truly a resort! Gorgeous 360 degree mountain views. We stayed in the new, back section and the sites are huge and fully paved. Nice landscaping with trees, shrubs, and grass throughout the resort. Private showers. Two nice pools and hot tubs. There are 2 bricked, circular gas fireplaces in the adult section that get turned on each evening. Pickle ball courts were lots of fun. Very nice laundry facilities. Two large clubhouses. Every aspect of this resort is top notch; it is truly a 10! Nice folks work here too and they are constantly out and about working and checking on things. We were here a month and hope to come back. Our $33 rate is based on the monthly rate and includes about $3 a day for electricity. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Uncompahgre River RV Park (55+ park), Olathe, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, NICE park! We stayed here 11 days and enjoyed it very much. The owners gave us their best spot (in our opinion!). Lots of large shade trees which sure were appreciated in this heat. Electrical ampage was steady at 120. Water pressure just right. Green, green grass and nice flowers and landscaping. Perfectly level site. Very nice laundry room and showers. Nice and quiet too! Its a mile off Highway 50. Located between Montrose and Delta and either of these towns has whatever you may need. We will certainly stay here again. We camped at Uncompahgre River RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
