Marquette Tourist Park, Marquette, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 nights and found the campgrounds to be very nice. The full hooksups are a great feature and there is plenty to do in the area, including swimming in Lake Superior, if you are up for it. For the less hardy there is a small beach on the river in the park with warmer water. We camped at Marquette Tourist Park in a Travel Trailer.

PJ Hoffmaster State Park, Muskegon, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground for beach lovers. Short walk from our site to the sandy beach. No lifeguard and need to watch the warning flags (riptides can happen). Spacious campsite, but not all are as big, so be mindful when booking. Alcohol prohibited between Apr 15 and Labor Day. We camped at PJ Hoffmaster State Park in a Travel Trailer.
